I reached out to this company based off of the great reviews. However, they did not live up to the hype. I had a leaky drain pipe under my pier and beam home and called for an estimate to repair it. I explained that it is a small crawl space and would require someone who is tiny enough to fit. I provided pics/video to make it a little easier and was told that they could provide a range and no one would need to come. Two hours later, a technician shows up. I was ok with this because I understand that sometimes they need to see the problem in person. Well, the technician showed up and did not attempt to go under the home. He called his boss immediately and spoke to him for about 10 min. He told me that his boss would call me and explain everything and then he left. Well, I never received a call from his boss but I did receive an estimate. The estimate was outrageous and did not match the scope of work that was required. By outrageous, I mean it was 5x higher than other plumbing companies in the city. Some of the "additional charges" included: additional plumbers (5x), $1500 charge for a biohazard clean which was not applicable to this situation, sewer line repair & sewer line installation. To top it all off, they even had the nerve to charge a $179 service call fee! If you all are expecting transparency, communication and fair pricing, do NOT call this company.

In this case, the repair involved a broken drain line beneath a raised home with very limited access and conditions that required additional safety considerations for our team. After assessing the situation, we provided an estimate based on the work necessary to complete the repair safely and properly, including addressing the conditions present in the crawl space and the access challenges involved.
We understand our recommendation and pricing differed significantly from what you expected, and we respect that homeowners may choose a different approach or provider. However, our estimate reflected the scope of work we believed would be required to perform the repair correctly and safely.
We would also like to clarify that our standard dispatch fee is $79, not $179, and in this instance that fee was waived because we recognized we had not met your expectations.

I had an emergency plumbing issue in my restroom, and I’m so glad I called 1-Tom-Plumber! Their dispatcher, Isabella, was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. She walked me through the entire process, explained every step clearly, and made sure I felt informed and taken care of.
The technician did an excellent job and was very professional. They fixed the issue and left my place impeccably clean when they were finished.
I’m extremely happy with the service I received and would definitely call 1-Tom-Plumber again if I ever have any plumbing issues in the future. Highly recommended! 🙌

Out of all the emergency plumbers I contacted, 1-Tom-Plumber was the only company that was truly responsive and completely reliable!I called them at midnight in the middle of a high-stress emergency, and my dispatcher, Isabella, was an absolute lifesaver. She was incredibly friendly and professional, taking the time to patiently instruct me over the phone on exactly what to do to contain the situation. She then called me back to confirm my next-day appointment and even managed to send a technician earlier than the time she initially promised.At 7:30 AM, she updated me that a technician was en route, and by 8:00 AM sharp, Josh arrived at my door. Josh was incredibly nice, respectful, and highly skilled. He immediately fixed the emergency issue and expertly explained why my A/C drainage setup had failed. He even went above and beyond to meticulously map out a long-term architectural solution across my 3-story attic for later this week.If you are facing a high-stress plumbing emergency, skip the others and call these guys.
