Brian is an amazing photographer. I could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! He made the whole process easy despite our nerves throughout the day.
the most amazing photographer who made the entire wedding process seamless! i really wanted a candid honest representation of our day, and i feel like brian was able to do just that. the photos are so beautiful and brian made us feel comfortable through the whole experience!

Brian was so great to work with. My wife and I needed a photo shoot that covered ground in a few different areas, and he gave us high quality shots that fitted all of our needs in an efficient and really fun environment. We are grateful for his craft and can guarantee you won't be disappointed with the final product!

Been meaning to add this review for a long time. Brian shot our wedding 6 months ago. There’s a reason this incredible guy only gets glowing remarks! My wife and I enjoyed our photos as much as we did working with Brian. Really just a stand up guy. He’s flexible on packages which helped us a lot being on the younger side:) We got exactly what we wanted and Brian was with us the entire day—can’t say I know any other photographers who are willing to erase time blocks and simply shoot to capture every moment when they come. - Brian we love you lots (Ben & Kat)

Where do I even begin to describe how incredible our experience was with 222 Photography??? Brian is such a good guy (and goofball!) who is genuinely intent on getting to know the people he works with. He made us feel so at ease through the whole process! He truly listened to our wants/visions/fears and he does his due diligence to bolster his incredible work: for our engagement shoot, he arrived early to scope out the location before we arrived; for our wedding, he was there at every turn, capturing both planned moments and candid magic. The photos are simply exquisite. Brian really means it when he says that he wants the images to be more than just photos. He intends to capture the heart of the couples he works with and create art to cherish for life. He was worth every penny!!

It’s been five years since my wedding but this still has been eating at me so I have to just get this review off my chest. I had a subpar experience with 222 photography and it’s still so disappointing to me. First meeting with Brian, he showed up late to with the excuse being daylight savings (though it was two days prior and cmon current technology/phones change automatically). I saw his work from someone I know so I looked past it and decided to hire him. Covid happened and my wedding got split into two days, more specifically two years. For the ceremony, my only real complaint is we got absolutely no instruction on how to pose. My husband and I both felt awkward and we were told to “just touch each other”… every other person I’ve talked to had a photographer who helped them pose and made them feel really comfortable. Next came time to reschedule my reception. Brian was particularly difficult to work with as he would only do an evening on a Friday as to not take up a Saturday in which he could be working a full wedding. Reason being he “has kids and have to keep food on the table ya know”.. as if this wasn’t one of the most upsetting things I’d dealt with. If you’re already paid, you should be more an accommodating to your customers especially when there are outstanding events that happen and quite frankly ruin dreams. Not to mention, he told me what his wife does for a living, so it was apparent money wasn’t really any issue. But that’s not the point I know it’s a business, but a little more empathy would’ve been nice. Next, reception time came the next year. I emailed him a schedule for the day. Didn’t get a ton of beautiful shots that could’ve been done at my venue. A lot of point and shoot basic photos. Disappointing but what was worse is despite having the schedule, he didn’t stay the whole time!!! I already scheduled it for a Friday to accommodate him and I didn’t even get photos of my sparkler exit which was on the schedule I gave him because he left a good hour beforehand. Reviewing the photos with him went well, and he made edits that we asked for. He also made a beautiful album. However, there was a good 6 months before I actually got my photos back and I don’t recall getting any sneak peeks. When I went to pick up the album at his house, he gave me some fresh chicken eggs… thanks? All in all, I’m very disappointed in my experience and it honestly put a damper on my memories of my wedding. It’s unfortunate because I have seen him do beautiful work, but it felt like he didn’t for me.
Thank you for your feedback, Cortlandt. I do wish that you would've voiced your concerns with me over the phone/email earlier when I could've possibly done something about it. That said, I did look over all of our emails over the 2+ years of correspondence we had pre & post wedding dates (between both you and your mom) and will say that I'm a little shocked to read this current review. The sentiments here don't align with our past communications. I'm also a little surprised to see that you removed your past 5 star review that was left here after your post Covid reception; this review is a 180 degree shift from what you wrote after your wedding. I'm glad that you enjoyed the eggs, edits and album. I'm sorry that this ate at you for so long. I hope that you and Joe are doing well and I truly do hope that writing this review brings you some sense of peace & relief -- 3 years is a long time to hold onto any kind of resentment.
