my kids absolutely love training here! the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell that they care. the training is age-specific, appropriate, and fun to watch. we will be sticking around for a while. 🫡👍🏾👍🏾
Was fortunate to train with 3 embers during a 4 month stint living in McKinney. I’ve been to a lot of academies and this one is outstanding. Excellent team atmosphere, quality instruction, and good Jiu Jitsu happening here.
We’ve been sending our daughter to 3 Embers Grappling Academy for over 6 months now, and we are extremely happy with our experience. A big thank you to Coach Justin and the entire team for their dedication and outstanding coaching. The techniques they teach go beyond just grappling—they’re valuable life lessons that our daughter will carry with her for years to come. What truly stands out is the way the coaches connect with the kids. The clarity, patience, and structure in their teaching are clearly reflected in how well the children understand and apply the techniques. It’s amazing to see the growth in both skill and confidence. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a positive and supportive environment. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a place where their child can learn, grow, and thrive!
I have been doing Jiu Jitsu here for a few years now, and had have the pleasure of training in the kid's class and in the adults class, and have loved ever class from start to finish. The coaches give you real, practical training, and you can tell they do it out of love for the sport and want to see their students excel. It is a fun but serious environment, welcoming to anyone regardless of physical status/impediments or age (or lack thereof). Fantastic community.
My daughter loves it here; great community, wonderful coaches, and they support We Defy…highly recommend if you want to try jiu jitsu!
This is a very high level and respectable BJJ academy. Their team and staff are very knowledgeable and respectful. I found zero judgments or egos only people eager to learn and to assist with learning the gentle art. Great music great vibe and all the respect. OSS

I dropped in as a visitor today and had an absolutely blast! Very welcoming tribe here in the Dallas area! Great class taught by Mike Anderson, good rounds with all levels. Highly recommend visiting if you want to train in a friendly environment!

My daughter has been attending here for a while now and we absolutely love it. She wasn’t sure about the sport at all at first but thanks to the other kids and coach Justin she has grown to enjoy coming and learning new things. We tried other gyms before that were more commercial and aside from being more expensive for less instruction time they seemed to let the kids goof off. Here you can feel the emphasis of discipline and respect while keeping a fun and competitive environment. Highly recommend giving 3 Embers a shot
