I had 314 Roofing install a solar powered fan on my roof. They surveyed my roof and attic and stated that an exhaust fan would get my attic temperatures close to the ambient temperature. However, I only noticed a 6 degree drop in temperature. I informed them of the issue and unmet expectations; only to have their representative re-inspect the house and tell me that there is another separate issue causing my excessive attic temps.
When I asked why the initial issue was not identified, the representative just shrugged.
From my perspective, I spent $1,800 on a solution that was ineffective and possibly unnecessary. At best, I would say that their solution was misrepresented – but I just feel lied to. Given the experience, I would not trust them with a larger project or recommend them.

We definitely understand your frustration Carter, especially after investing in a solution and not seeing the results you expected.
When we originally inspected your attic, it was clear that temperatures were elevated, and the exterior appeared to have adequate intake ventilation. Based on those conditions, we recommended a solar-powered attic fan.
When you later contacted us about the results, we came back out to investigate. During that inspection, we discovered that the exterior intake grates had been painted over, trapping dirt and debris on the screens and significantly restricting airflow into the attic. An exhaust fan can only move as much air as the intake system allows, which helps explain why the temperature reduction was limited.
We certainly wish we had identified that restriction during our first visit, but we’re glad we were able to identify the issue when you brought the concern to our attention. It is certainly something our team will use as a training tool moving forward. Our recommendation was made in good faith based on the conditions we could see at the time, and we’re sorry the experience left you feeling otherwise.
314 Roofing Solutions did an awesome job on replacing our roof. The roofers showed up at 6:30 a.m. and the job was complete by 6:00 p.m. JJ, the project manager was a professional at his craft keeping us informed every step of the way. When the roof was complete, I was surprise to see how clean they left our yard. Very impressive! Randy was our salesman. He worked with us to get the pricing that fit our budget. Thanks 314 Roofing for a great experience and a job well done.

This company is so professional and very thorough. My salesman Nathan that sold me the roof pulled up in my driveway and climbed up the ladder and got on the roof with the crew. The project manager JJ was phenomenal, anytime they found a problem he was up there taking pictures and explaining to me the problem. This company comes highly recommended!!! Thank you 314 roofing for my new roof she sure is pretty!!

314 Roofing did a wonderful job repairing some wear and tear on my 11 year old roof. They were very honest and transparent with me. After inspection, they reported that I do NOT need a new roof and my current roof should last another 5 to 7 years. They only suggest that I have some maintenance done on some areas at a reasonable price. There was no pressure from them. At some point, I will need a new roof and I will not hesitate to use them again.

314 Roofing did a phenomenal job! Nate was amazing! He answered all 99,000 of my questions (oh yes! I had plenty) without irritation. I was able to personalize my roof from the Proedge hip and ridge all the way down to the Underlayment and vent ridges! I’m so happy I shopped around and found you guys. Let me also not forget to mention JJ who was onsite in its entirety making sure all was well and keeping me updated😊 5- stars well deserved. I most certainly recommend 314 roofing above the rest and that’s a fact!

We are thrilled with our new roof! We had a great experience from start to finish. Kyle set us up with exactly what we needed and did not oversell. JJ guided us throughout the entire installation. He took care in each step - confirming the shingle color, answering all of our questions and taking a final sweep of our yard for all metal after his crew left. The entire team was professional and gave us a perfect roof in one day. We chose 314 due to their reviews - and they lived up to them!

Wow! What a great experience with 314 Roofing and the entire team. From start to finish, the communication was outstanding, the workmanship was excellent, and the customer service exceeded my expectations.
