I have gotten a lot of haircuts, I’ve cut my own hair. This was hands down the best haircut I have ever received. I got the full mom recommendation. My mom has had her hair cut by Lori starting close to over 20 years ago now. I could never ask for a more talented and vibrant person to trust with my hair. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I don't even know what to say..I called 5th street absolutely desperate for help. I had to wait 2 days, and every time until this was finished I looked in the mirror and cried. My hair was muddled in blue, green, beach and some purple with hot roots. I went no where but work. With my hair up in a bun on the day of my appointment, the stylist i had called to reschedule. Again, in tears, this was bad. I called Lori when the shop opened, and gave her some details on how bad it really was. I think she could hear the desperation in my voice, she was booked, but somehow was willing to not sleep for me. As the prior client left she said "she can fix anything". Omg. Thank you Lori. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 1000 times. You're experience shows, and your kindest and love for your career is amazing. I would give 10 stars if i could.

It was the night before family pictures and all through the house, a woman was pacing, trying to find a last minute availability with any salon that could squeeze in a cut and balayage coloring before the end of the day. I truly wanted to get my hair done but hadn’t jumped on scheduling anything in advance before it seemed too late. Everyone in Hastings was busy; it seemed to be a hopeless endeavor. But Lori of 5th Avenue Color offered to stay late to do my hair.
My hair is past my waist and is almost certainly a project, but Lori tackled it readily and she did the best job that I have ever experienced in getting balayage done. The colors shift between a soft, golden blond to a caramel throughout my hair, done with a combination of foils and attentive hand painting. By the time that Lori finished, I was completely stunned by her work and felt that she had really taken my head of hair, which had become boring and the color very flat, to something that immediately boosted my confidence and had me ready for our family photos. I’ve included before and after photos below, but they truly don’t do the colors justice. Lori went above and beyond to accommodate and address my style goals. I don’t think I’ll ever go to another salon again.
