Reviewers of A-1 Certified Environmental Services in San Francisco frequently cite the provider's punctuality, transparent pricing, and detailed explanations of mold and air quality testing processes. Positive feedback highlights prompt phone responses and thorough on-site inspections that help clients understand results without upselling remediation. However, lower-rated reviews indicate instances of inaccurate test results, combative initial phone interactions, and a lack of follow-up communication after reports are delivered.

Carl is very informative, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He picks up the phone promptly, answers all questions clearly, and provides fast, on‑time service exactly as scheduled. The pricing is transparent and reasonable. I highly recommend A‑1 Certified Environmental Services for anyone needing reliable environmental testing.
Unfortunately the test results from the one air sample he took, was not accurate and neither was the report. Other inspections were done and reported elevated mold in 2 rooms. Remediation is going to take a week of evacuation. Carl talks a lot and is friendly but he did not seem focused on the task. I have addressed this to him but he does not reply.
Carl was very formative and accommodating. He clearly cares about the wellbeing on his clients and is very knowledgeable about the process of mold testing and remediation.
Very helpful and extremely informative, definitely patient in understanding my problem in my house. Came fast and cordial, had tons of information explaining and was willing to talk to me on the phone to explain in further detail. Follow-Up was scheduled and went as exactly like planned! I got my results and they explained it perfectly. Thank you Carl!
I called them trying to get some help understanding air quality issues in my home and they were strangely combative and not even interested in helping me figure out which of their tests would be appropriate for my situation.
Carl was excellent! He conduct a mold test in my persoal residence, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. He was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. What I particularly appreciated was that Carl only does testing and does not handle any remediation work. This meant he had no agenda to try and sell me a big, expensive construction project. It was clear his focus was solely on providing an accurate assessment of the situation. I highly recommend Carl to anyone needing a mold test.
