From a good experience to a not not so good exoerience. 20 Oct 2026 Mark is very polite, patient and professional. He replaced the garbage disposal pretty quick. So far so good. I will continue to recommend Plumbing A-1 Total Service. Thank you. I called the receptionist requesting the bill be emailed to me and to have a physical copy of the bill mailed to me. Follow up 21 Oct 2026, 2:24 am. I looked at my new garbage disposal after watching a video. I saw that the "Rubber Catch" is not installed. I have a mesh screen on top of the sink drain but I would still like to have the rubber catch that came with the new garbage disposal placed inside my new garbage disposal. I called you this morning at around 2:24 am and left you a nessage. Please call me as soon as possible. Thank you. She told me she will contact the technician (Mark Cardenas) to call me. she said she will call me after she contacts him. 0818 hrs Jazzel called me back stating that spoke with the technician and she said he will be calling me. 0955 hrs I called A-1 and I spoke with Melissa regarding my bill. That I haven't received my bill by email. While on the phone she sent the bill to my email and I received it. I also requested a physical copy of the bill to be mailed to my home. I also mentioned to Melissa that I had spoke with Jazzel earlier today about the missing Rubber Cover. Melissa told me that Mark is currently working at a location and that he will contact me. 1500 hrs Mark has not called me. So I called A-1 Total plumbing and I spoke with Jazzel and said Mark hasn't called me yet. she apologized and said she will call Mark and have him call me. 1506 hrs Mark called me. Told him about the missing Rubber Catch that is inserted inside the disposal and NOT the cover to plug the drain hole. I asked him to bring the Rubber Catch and the S shaped Allen wrench. He said he will bring them tomorrow, Thursday 22 Oct 2026, morning. I Thanked him. I asked him if the new disposal had a reset button because I couldn't find it at the bottom of the disposal. No Red or Black button seen. He said there is a reset button. 1707 hrs I looked for the reset button. I didn't find one. So I called A-1 Plumbing and I spoke with Jazzel. I asked her to have Mark bring the manual/instructions to the garbage disposal. 22 October 2026, 0840 hrs Mark came to my house to insert the Rubber Cover inside the garbage disposal and brought the S shaped Allen wrench but he did not bring the instructions because he threw them away with the box. I don't mean to sound petty but I paid $938.28 for the garbage disposal and replacement installation and all the parts that come with it which include the instructions. because its hard enough to troubleshoot any future issues without the instructions. Its the InSinkErator 900-1 series. I highly recommend the technicians to install all parts of the garbage disposal before leaving and ask the customers if they want to keep any leftover parts and the manual. 0904 hrs - I called the 1 800 558-5700 phone number affixed to the garbage disposal. I spoke with the receptionist and asked her if she can send me a copy of of the instructions. She sent me a link with the instructions. she also registered my garbage disposal. I told her that I paid $938.28 for the replacement installation. She looked up the price of the. model I had bought. She told me it cost $226.00 at home depot. So out of the $938.28 I was charged $712.28 for labor? And Mark didn't complete the job to where he kept parts that I paid for but brought them today to complete the job but he threw away the instructions. This is not right and I am dissapointed by this experience. This should not happen from a professional. I now have concerns about your company. I may still call you for any furture Plumbing issues but like I said I now have concerns.

used A1 a few times and had great experiences, but the company’s recent acquisition by a corporation has ruined the service. They quoted me almost $7k for a simple mainline blockage absolute extortion. I referred them to my father which he contacted them for a bathtub clog and quoted him over 3k!!! I hired a local, family-owned company instead for only $175 and had me flowing again. Beware: this is not the same trusted company anymore; they are now a corporate entity only interested in overcharging. When I expressed my concern to the manager he said I get what I paid for and if I’m not happy I can go somewhere else and I did.

They said I would have appointment at 2:00. They called about 11:00 and said they could come early. I greatly appreciate that. He was here within the 20 minutes they said he would be here. Very friendly very upfront with the prices. He did a very excellent job. Would recommend this company to other people.

Guillermo and Cesar did an amazing job. We had our in wall washer and dryer valves replaced. With little space to work with they were able to replace the part. Super friendly and professional. I would use their service again in a heartbeat. Thanks guys!
