Baldo and his crew helped me with repairs to the exterior of my mom's home in San Mateo. Maintenance had been deferred for years (lots of dry rot) and her home was badly in need of new exterior painting (mandated by her HOA with a deadline). Baldo was easy to reach upon initial contact, talked me through what they would be able to do to repair or replace any affected siding and provided rough pricing. Once we agreed to have him do the job, he was able to fit us in a last minute to keep us on timeline with the painter's availability. He and his crew showed up as promised, worked daily until the work was done, kept me up-to-date on findings and progress and completed the job both on time and to perfection. He also kept to the initial price quoted except for a couple of unforeseen areas of damage that had to be added as a change order; pricing was still very reasonable. His team answered all of my mom's questions and went above and beyond to help her with a few additional requests. My dad had recently passed and I live/work in San Francisco so it was a huge relief to know that she would be in good hands and I didn't need to be onsite to watch over or direct anyone on work. We were ever so grateful to Baldo & his team AND I would definitely use them again! Thanks Baldo!

Jennifer, thank you for the wonderful review and for trusting us with your mom’s home. I am very sorry for your loss and glad we could relieve some stress by staying on the HOA timeline and communicating each step. I’m proud of the crew for addressing the dry rot, keeping to the quoted price except for necessary change orders, and for going above and beyond to answer your mom’s questions. We appreciate the recommendation and would be honored to help your family again in the future.
Hiring A and D Construction turned out to be one of the best decisions l've made for my project. From the very first conversation, I felt listened to and respected. They didn't rush me, didn't upsell me, and took the time to really understand what I wanted and what my budget was.
What impressed me most was the pricing. It was honest, fair, and clearly explained from day one. There were no surprises, no pressure, and no last-minute changes. For the quality of work they delivered, the value was incredible.
It genuinely felt like they cared more about the job than anything! The project itself was handled with so much care and attention to detail. Every step of the process was smooth, organized, and professional. They showed up when they said they would, kept everything clean, and made sure l was comfortable and informed throughout the entire job. Any small question I had was answered right away, and they never made me feel like an inconvenience.
What really makes A and D Construction stand out is their pride in their work. You can see it in the finished project - everything looks solid, clean, and beautifully done. They treated my home like it was their own, and that level of respect is rare.
I'm beyond happy with the final result and truly grateful I chose them. If you're looking for a contractor who is trustworthy, fairly priced, hardworking, and genuinely cares about their customers, A and D Construction is the one. I would recommend them without hesitation and will absolutely call them again for any future work.
