After comparing several deck builder and deck repair estimates, i chose this company for my large hillside deck project in San Francisco. They gave a fair, competitive quote after a careful inspection and explained the scope of the work in simple terms. The deck had gone without maintenance for a long time, with some areas settling, some boards worn out, and heavy sun exposure fading the surface. Because the property sits on a steep slope, they also added a retaining wall to help support and protect the deck structure. grant and the crew were skilled, organized, and easy to work with. They moved the project along efficiently, used quality materials, and paid close attention to safety, drainage, and the overall stability of the deck frame. brandon kept communication clear throughout the job, and tanner made sure the finishing details looked clean and solid. The whole project was finished on schedule and stayed within budget, which made a big difference for such a large outdoor build. I strongly recommend this deck builder to anyone who wants honest service, dependable workmanship, and a team that understands complex hillside deck construction in California. if you want a contractor that delivers value, quality repairs, and a deck that looks refreshed and secure, this is a great choice.

Very professional and detail-focused from start to finish. Our deck looks even better now than when I worked on it myself. David was quick to respond, which really stood out compared with many other deck contractors. The crew was careful, thorough, and easy to trust throughout the deck staining and refinishing process. They took the time to prep the surface right, handle the sanding cleanly, and apply the finish evenly for a great final result. If you want to save time and get a high-quality deck restoration job, this team does excellent work.

A+ Deck Builder in San Francisco did an excellent job replacing the railings on our deck. David handled several repair challenges along the way and worked through each one with skill and care. The problems were related to the original cement deck base, not the repair work, and everything was addressed smoothly. He was easy to work with, professional, and clearly experienced with deck and railing projects. We would gladly hire him again for any deck building or woodworking work. Friendly service and great results.

we originally picked a covered deck builder display model, but when it was delivered it did not fit our space because we had measured the area wrong. the crew made the whole process easy and positive. tanner took fresh measurements, walked us through the best deck size, and asked what stain color we wanted for the custom build. instead of treating it like a problem, they quickly offered to build a custom covered deck that matched our yard and layout much better. a short time later, the new deck arrived and fit perfectly. the construction quality is excellent, with strong materials, solid framing, and a very clean finished look. william handled the delivery and installation smoothly and had everything set up fast. we were impressed by how simple they made the custom deck process from measuring to final install. the price was fair, the workmanship was great, and the finished deck looks beautiful and feels built to last. we highly recommend this deck builder for anyone wanting affordable quality and dependable service in san francisco.

I had my back patio deck and screen enclosure done after getting two other bids. The price was right in the middle and very close to the lowest estimate, but after speaking with David, it was clear he was professional, skilled, and very experienced with deck builder work. What really stood out was that others said the project would take three days, while David explained it could be completed in just one day without cutting corners. He also shared photos of similar deck and patio projects, which gave me a lot of confidence in the quality of the finished work. The crew was polite, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. They paid attention to the details, kept the work area organized, and made sure the patio and deck area looked great when everything was done. The final result was outstanding, and the screened patio space turned out even better than I expected. I am very happy with the craftsmanship and would absolutely hire them again for future deck builder projects.

i’ll be recommending this deck builder to any of my contacts who need deck work. There are several reasons why. The biggest one is the finished deck itself, which turned out just like we expected based on the quality shown in the project photos. The workmanship looked strong and clean in the pictures, and the real result matched that quality. We chose a 4' IPE wood deck with clips for a 12x19' detached elevated deck, and also added a stainless steel cable railing plus a built-in IPE bench. The completed deck feels extremely solid, stable, and well built, which gave us a lot of confidence in the structure and overall craftsmanship. It not only looks great, but also feels like it was built to last through regular use and warm weather. The crew showed up on time each day, stayed polite and professional, and did not mind when i asked questions or checked in on the progress. They handled a few unexpected issues during the build in a smooth and practical way, and the project kept moving without unnecessary delays. william was especially detail focused, easy to work with, and helpful during the planning stage. The pricing was also fair and competitive compared with the other deck bids we received. What really stood out during the estimate process was the strong attention to detail, the willingness to suggest budget-friendly options, and the straightforward attitude about access to the job site instead of turning it into a problem. grant and the rest of the team made the whole deck building process feel simple and well managed. Overall, we are very happy with the deck design, the build quality, and the service from start to finish. Two thumbs up from me.

David showed strong deck builder skills and handled the work smoothly, even in a tight backyard space, while installing our new sliding glass door as part of our deck and patio renovation project. He was respectful to our family and careful with our home in San Francisco, making sure the job was completed with very little disruption to our daily routine and access around the house. The decking materials, door quality, and overall craftsmanship were excellent and went beyond what I expected. This was a very positive deck and outdoor living improvement experience, and the finished work made the space feel more open, functional, and inviting.

I hired Brandon and the team for a deck builder project at my San Francisco home to replace an old wood deck and stair access with an aluminum-framed deck system finished with durable composite decking. They did an excellent job, and the workmanship was top quality. Communication was clear, their attention to detail was strong, and they followed through on everything from planning to final installation. Brandon also shared several helpful ideas that improved the deck’s function, safety, durability, and overall look. The project stayed on the quoted price, and the finished deck exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this deck builder team and would gladly hire them again for another outdoor living project.
