Wow! Heidi has such a great eye for things. The detail she sees, the lighting, lots of fun in between shoots. She was reasonably priced, so we used her for four events: senior pictures, yearbook pictures, prom photos (totally awesome!), and Christmas pictures. Every one of them you want to frame. Yes, you can take pictures with your phone but if you want stunning quality, A Slice of Life should be your "go to"!

Our portraits were her work, and even though they are a couple of years old (and we have changed), we still enjoy them and display them in our home. Heidi is prompt and her business acumen is recognized at many of the venues in and around San Diego County and beyond. We recommend her work without reservation.

Heidi is an amazing photographer ! She took mine and my husbands engagement photos, once we found out we where expecting our first child, she took my maternity photo, the babies newborn photos, and many family /growing up sessions when we lived in the area,
We also ordered our prints /canvas through Heidi, and after 12 years and 5 moves, they’re still holding up beautifully!
5 stars just isn’t enough for slice of life and Heidi!

Heidi was my wedding photographer and the images were wonderful! She was so much fun to work with and knew how to draw people out so their personalities shined in the photos. She worked with the family later on a series outstanding photos. So many of the pictures in my books and on my wall are from Heidi. She’s the best!
