Customers frequently cite punctuality, professional conduct, and responsive communication as key aspects of the service. Reviews highlight quality work on sod installation, aeration, fertilizing, leaf cleanup, and routine maintenance, often noting fair pricing and attention to detail. However, some lower-rated experiences mention scheduling conflicts with severe weather that damaged recent work and missed appointments for design consultations. The owner actively addresses these concerns, replying to every review to manage expectations and resolve issues.

AX did sod for our back yard, they did it properly with soil and fertilizer under the sod. They seeded areas which may have been uprooted by equipment. They did a great job.
Price assessment: Great price

I posted a review saying how much I liked them but have to, unfortunately, retract that rating. I had them come aerate, fertilize and seed my entire yard and they did it on the morning of a day that we had 3+” of rain fall. All the weather channels were warning of this event and they did my yard first moving before his more established clients. My whole yard got washed out and I will have to relevel it and Adam was not willing to discount his original estimate or come back and do it again even though he told me directly if the weather we were expecting. I paid $1,400 plus for his service and he wants to charge me the same amount to do it again. I have hired another company for $400 less who will actually put compost on top of their job when finished and agreed to do a minimal charge if the weather does not cooperate. I have been using AX landscaping for years now to do this service and also take care of the lawn when I am away on vacation but would not use them again !

Hi Tim, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve decided not to use our services again. However, I do want to clarify a few points, as this review does not accurately reflect what occurred.
We did complete the aeration and seeding service prior to the rain. Unfortunately, the rain washed away some of the seed and soil from the grading work that had been completed by you prior to us performing our portion of the project. As we explained when you reached out, weather conditions are outside of our control.
That being said, we offered to come back and reseed the affected areas at our cost, rather than charging the same price for the original service, as a gesture of good faith and to help resolve the situation.
We always strive to do quality work and take care of our customers, and we’re disappointed that we weren’t able to meet your expectations in this situation.

We had a great experience working with Adam and the A.X. Landscaping team. Adam was patient, persistent, responsive, and willing to work with us as our vision for the project changed along the way. He helped us navigate the different decisions and made sure the finished project came together the way we wanted.
The entire crew worked hard, but we especially want to recognize Zeke. Every time we checked on the progress, he was actively working, never standing around, and consistently handled the hardest and dirtiest parts of the job. At one point, we gave the crew Red Bulls while they were unloading mulch, and Zeke was the only one who didn’t immediately open his. He put it aside and went straight back to shoveling. That small moment perfectly demonstrated his work ethic and dedication.
Adam has a genuinely hardworking young man on his team, and Zeke deserves recognition for the effort he put into our project. We appreciate everyone at A.X. Landscaping for their flexibility, persistence, and hard work, and we would confidently recommend them to others.
Thank you, Leo, for your thoughtful review and for recognizing Adam and the A.X. Landscaping team. We’re thrilled Adam’s patience and guidance helped bring your vision to life and that Zeke’s dedication and hard work stood out. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to the crew. We appreciate the recommendation and look forward to helping with any future projects.

Wow, just wow! THANK YOU to A.X. Landscaping for taking a dull, weedy 1/4 of my back yard, and turn it into beautiful parkland. A.X. Landscaping is my go-to group. Adam, the owner is great to work with. He listens attentively and is responsive. His team of young men is hard working, friendly, and respectful. The foreman Aidan is fantastic — he is collaborative and worked with me very creatively on in-the-moment design work on modifying hosta placement. Around the time they were finishing, I texted Adam with an idea for the next job. He’s already come over and we are on the way. I LOVE THIS COMPANY, Adam, Aiden, and all the guys. Thank you, thank you!
