Trace and Bill were incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They even came on-site to review everything and took the time to plan our complex move: one pickup with deliveries to 4–5 different locations. Their team arrived on time, packed quickly and securely, and completed the cross-country delivery in under a week. Everything reached each drop-off undamaged. We’re already booking them for another cross-country move. Highly recommended.

Damaged/Destroyed Meaningful Items, Poor Communication, No Accountability I had a HORRIFIC experience with this moving company. During my move, two of my personal items — both of which held deep personal significance — in one case was significantly damaged and in the other it was completely destroyed. One was a family heirloom, a glass top table, I had inherited from my late father, and the other was a framed original artwork. I should have stopped the movers from the beginning when they backed their truck into the building itself. But I continued as I had heard good things about this company so I continued the process. As the move continued, they were careless and sloppy with my items. The movers leaned the box with these personal items on a wall in an unsteady way, and they fell over and the glass table and glass frame each shattered into a thousand pieces. The movers then said they wanted to take the glass table away, which is entirely the incorrect process if I need it to go through an insurance claim process. Then the movers gave me an incorrect number to call which I called on the spot and figured out it was an incorrect number. Then they kept pressuring me to sign a document that said everything went ok in the move, when I was not comfortable signing that since nothing went well in the move. I was finally able to talk to the person on the phone who was higher up and assured me he would do everything in his power to make this right. This turned out to be merely words, with no meaning behind them. I documented everything thoroughly: photos of the damage, professional repair estimates, and a clear written description of what happened. I reached out promptly and followed up multiple times. Initially, someone in leadership expressed that they wanted to "make it right," which gave me hope that they would take the situation seriously. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened. After several polite follow-ups over the course of weeks and then months, I was offered a tiny token amount which would be a drop in the bucket for fixing/replacing these items. My messages to the claims representative were ignored or met with impersonal replies, and upper management — despite being looped in — never responded. I never expected perfection, but I did expect professionalism, accountability, and care — especially after being referred to this company by someone who’s worked with them for years. That trust has now been completely broken. I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone who needs their belongings — especially anything personal, fragile, or meaningful — handled with care, and to anyone who expects professionalism from a company.

I have used A2B Moving twice for DC-area moves. Requesting quotes and booking the move was convenient and management is responsive and helpful. Marlon, Carlos, and Darius worked my most recent move and were fantastic. Positive experience both times. I would recommend.

A2B did a fantastic job with my move. Brian and his team, Davis and Josh, were incredibly professional and kind. Moving can be stressful and they made the experience so easy. I will definitely be booking them again whenever I move again!! I cannot recommend them highly enough!

A2B Movers were professional, courteous, and efficient. They stayed in great communication and handled a delicate move exactly how I had hoped. Bill and Dom manage a great crew and made me feel like my move was the most important move they had. Use this company, they won’t disappoint.

Terrible experience. They took way longer than the estimated time. Of the 4 workers provided, one of them was consistently missing. At one point 3 of the 4 works left for 30 min leaving only one worker doing anything. Upon packing, things like t-shirts had a large amount of packing paper used. Furniture was wrapped, but not handled carefully and caused lots of small blemishes. I also found a large box filled entirely with packing paper, plastic wrap, and packing tape. None of my belongings were in the box and I was severally overcharged for the supplies.

Moving Service Review Disappointing Ending to an Otherwise Good Experience I'm torn about my experience with this moving service. The team initially seemed professional and efficient, but things took a sour turn at the end. The Good · The movers handled the large items carefully. · They were prompt and ready to work. · We were extremely friendly and accommodating, offering: · A free working monitor · Refreshments (water and wine bottles) The Bad · The driver's final quote was significantly higher than the initial phone quote. · Additional small fees were added without explanation. · When I questioned the driver about the discrepancy, he became dismissive and uncooperative, saying "So you don't wanna pay?" The Move Details We handled 85% of the move ourselves, leaving only large items like: · 1 IKEA queen bed · 2 couches · 2 TV stands (15lbs + 7.5lbs) · 2 TVs (65in + 32in) · 2 stand-up desks (50lbs ea) · 2 office chairs · 4 trash bags · 2 mirrors · 1 rug (10lbs) · 3 foldable lawn chairs The Issue The driver quoted us $1,000+ to move these items less than 2,500 feet to the building next door and said there were 5 men when in facts only 3 were working and only 4 men were (must have been a ghost). Conclusion The driver took advantage of our friendliness and generosity, exploiting our goodwill with an inflated quote. Be cautious of potential price discrepancies and communicate clearly with the team. Unfortunately, the driver's behavior overshadowed the team's initial professionalism. Rating: 2/5 stars

A2B Movers moved me from Arlington to Fredericksburg and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Charles, Dominic, and Adrian were the utmost professionals, focused on moving my furniture and other household items with caution, and to ensure that everything was well protected. Despite the delay with the loading dock elevator, they were quick to find workarounds to ensure time was not wasted. Upon arrival in Fredericksburg, they quickly unloaded the truck, got everything into place and staged certain items that I had planned to take to Goodwill downstairs for my ease of transport to Goodwill. As a result of their exceptional service, professionalism, care, and expertise, I highly recommend A2B Moving company and specifically these three gentlemen. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge both the gentleman who scheduled me as well as the dispatcher. They both were professional and ensured all my requirements were captured and met. So, if you are moving, check these guys out, you will not be disappointed.

Ronald, Trace, and the moving crew at A2B did a phenomenal job. Very careful and thorough, faster than their estimated move time, and took care in reassembling furniture that had to be taken apart. We really appreciated their last minute flexibility rescheduling because we forgot to get the DC reserved street parking signs in time (PSA - you need at least 72 hours notice to request them). Would absolutely use them again.
