Abacus

Highly, highly recommend working with Abacus! After a failed attempt and unfortunate lawsuit with another contractor, Abacus stepped in the pick up the pieces. Our 3 story porch build was very complicated. They stuck with us for over a year through many design revisions and other issues. Once we kicked off the project they were professional and communicative at every step. We will use Abacus for all future projects at our condo.

Great staff, great communication, awesome final product. We can't thank Abacus enough for all the great work they did!

The whole Abacus team worked with us and responded to our specific requests during the project. They build a solid deck for us and we are quite pleased with the result. This was a tricky project, but Abacus was able to give us exactly what we wanted/needed. I recommend Abacus very highly.

We had a terrific experience working with Abacus over the course of our complete gut reno transforming a 2 family attached row house into a single family home. The project was a complete gut and tear-down all the way down to the ground and a complete build including detailed finishings. The Abacus team is highly skilled, very knowledgeable and quite responsive. We had many questions throughout given the specific nature of this project, some unique needs of our family, and the desire for certain aesthetic details. The team always went above and beyond striving to address our questions, meet our needs and come up with creative solutions where needed. Mark always made himself available whenever we needed him and had command of the details of the project as the team kept him in the loop. Ger and Lua led the demo and early construction phase while Paul took over mid-build with overall project coordination and ensuring the finishing details were to our satisfaction. We had the true soup to nuts experience in expert hands all the way through. We highly recommend Abacus for your project. They are trustworthy, reliable and conduct high quality work. We are very pleased with the final outcome, and they remain highly responsive to any follow-up questions. You will not go wrong trusting them with your project!

Just completed a large project on our condo. Did a terrific job. Very high quality work.

One of a kind - professional, detail-oriented, responsive, and makes sure the construction work is done right and meets engineering requirements and building regulations. Highly recommended. From an engineer’s perspective, it has been a pleasure having Abacus execute our designs.

Very professional and efficient. Would definitely hire again for work in the future

We hired Abacus to build a roof deck and could not be happier with how it turned out. Our project needed variance approvals, and they were patient with me while I worked through that process, which took a while. The finished deck is beautiful. The crew was also genuinely friendly and easy to have around the house, which matters more than you’d think when people are working on your home for weeks. At the end they helped us get a very heavy table up two flights and onto the roof, which was well beyond anything we asked of them.
