My family was at Abacus for 4 years and we absolutely loved it. While being located in Austin we drove to Abacus everyday because we couldn't find a better facility. Turn over rate was very low. The teachers here truly cared. One thing of many that impressed us was thst every teacher knew our name and who our children were. Sonia, Rose, and Zaira did an exceptional job with my high energy toddler. They really could meet him where he is and help him improve his day. Skye, Jen and Emily were also AMAZING with my youngest. Skye would baby wear her just to keep her happy and still get things done. Both of my kids picked up Spanish words and sign language while at Abacus. The ONLY reason we left Abacus is because our oldest is starting school in the fall. The 30+ min drive daily was worth it for years.

We love Abacus! My son has been at Abacus since he was 2 and he’s now 4. He has learned so much at this daycare and has loved all his teachers especially Ms. Rose, Ms. Nancy, Ms. Kierra, and Ms. Emily. My son has allergies and is a picky eater and they have been very accommodating allowing home food due to his allergies and exposing him to new foods to help his pickiness. The front staff are also so helpful whenever we have any questions or requests. We will be very sad to leave when our time is up as I know my son really enjoys going to Abacus!

We love the Busy Bees class so much! When my daughter first started, she had a lot of separation anxiety. But the teachers were so patient and loving that she completely overcame it. Now, she loves going to daycare every day, enjoys playing with her friends, and truly loves her teachers. Ms. Andrea, the lead teacher, is amazing. She is very responsible and makes sure to keep a close eye on every single child. I really appreciate the honest and genuine reports we get about her day—it gives me so much peace of mind. Ms. Shawna, the assistant teacher, is also wonderful with the kids. She takes the best pictures of my daughter's happiest moments! My daughter loves her so much that Ms. Shawna was the very first name she learned to say, even before her friends' names. It is amazing to see how much my daughter is blooming—not just with her learning, but also with her big feelings and her friendships .I feel completely relieved and happy every morning when I drop her off. We are so incredibly grateful for this wonderful classroom!

My son Kaizer has had such a wonderful experience in Ms. Andrea and Ms. Shaunna’s classroom. They are patient, caring, and truly invested in the growth and development of every child. As a parent, it gives me peace of mind knowing he is in a safe, loving, and engaging environment each day. I’ve seen Kaizer grow socially, emotionally, and academically during his time in their class. The communication with parents is excellent, and they always make us feel like part of the classroom family. Their dedication, kindness, and genuine love for the children do not go unnoticed. Thank you, Ms. Andrea and Ms. Shaunna, for everything you do for Kaizer and all of the children in your care. We appreciate you both so much!

The abacus staff, owners, and community have been consistently kind, patient, communicative, and supportive. Our daughter started at Abacus just after turning 1 and she’s now 4. We had a horrible, scary first experience at her prior daycare, and we are so thankful we found Abacus. Every teacher she has had so far has used the app regularly to share pics, videos, comments, work, and notes about her day, every day! I want to extend a huge, heartfelt shout out to Ms. Sonia and Ms. Nancy for helping build my daughters confidence and comfort at the daycare. They show up every day for the kids, welcome them with a smile/hug/ high five , and it shows that they take the extra time to really understand the needs of each of their students. Also, a shout out to Ms. Zaria, Ms. Emily, and Ms. Kierra. Our daughter comes home excited that her teachers helped her do fun things. “I LOVE my teachers”- a direct quote from my daughter! As an educator, I feel like my daughter is appropriately supported academically at Abacus. She has grown so much with their help. The directors are involved and knowledgeable about our daughter and family. They have extracurricular options like groovy gym bus, amazing athletes, and a chef class the parents can choose from.

abacus is a great center to enroll your kids! My daughter went here and now so does my son. We have family members we bring their children as well. So I love that my kids get to be around their family as well. The director and the employees are amazing. They all work very hard and make sure the kids have fun activities. Your children will be safe here ❤️

Abacus Daycare has been amazing from the very start. Our daughter began there at 6 months old, and as any parent knows, it’s incredibly hard to leave your baby in someone else’s care for the first time. From day one, Abacus made that transition so much easier for us. We immediately noticed a difference compared to another local daycare we had experienced. The staff are truly caring, attentive, and invested in the children. Now that our daughter is almost 3, I’m so impressed by how much she has learned and grown during her time here. One of the things I appreciate most is how everyone at the daycare—not just her teachers—knows her by name and is always happy to see her. It really creates a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a community. A special shout-out to Ms. Andrea and Ms. Shauna for making this experience so wonderful for our family. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful to be part of this one!

We have been with Abacus since my daughter was 10 months old, and I truly couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff is amazing, caring, and genuinely invested in the children. One of the things I love most is that everyone knows my daughter by name and makes her feel welcomed and loved every day. The director, Ms. Brianna, has been wonderful and always goes above and beyond to support both the children and parents. The curriculum is excellent, and I've seen my daughter grow and excel so much during her time here. We have loved all of her teachers, especially Ms. Sonia in the 2-year-old classroom and now Ms. Kierra and Ms. Emily in the 3-year-old classroom. They are patient, nurturing, engaging, and truly care about each child's development and my daughter loves being with them every day. The daycare provides breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which is such a convenience for parents. They also offer plenty of outdoor playtime and a variety of well-rounded activities that keep the children learning and having fun. The staff was also incredibly helpful during the potty-training process, making it a much smoother transition for both my daughter and our family. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and educational environment for their child. We are so grateful for the care and support they have provided over the years! ❤️

Updated June 2026: As our son prepares to graduate from Abacus Children's Academy and head to kindergarten, we've been reflecting on just how much this community has meant to our family over the last five years. Miss Zaria has been a constant throughout that journey. She taught our son when he first arrived as a six-month-old baby and is now helping send him off as a confident, curious five-year-old. She has always kept us informed, partnered with us to provide the best care and support, and created a classroom environment that was fun, engaging, and full of learning. What stood out most was her ability to meet our son where he was, embracing his unique personality and helping him grow into who he is today. While this review highlights Miss Zaria, the same can be said for so many of the teachers we've encountered at Abacus over the years. The culture here is truly special. The staff genuinely care about the children, communication is strong, and the environment is consistently welcoming, nurturing, and clean. We are incredibly grateful for the role Abacus and its teachers have played in helping raise our son. Thank you, Miss Zaria, and thank you to the entire Abacus team for being such an important part of our family's story. 2022: My child has been at Abacus since he was about 6 months (now 13 months old) and transferred from a nearby daycare. The transition was such a noticeable improvement in the staff, support, and level of engagement. They were incredibly supportive of breastfeeding and over the past few months have kept my very energetic and curious baby entertained and engaged -- and it does not escape me that this is an above-and-beyond task to do! They creatively solution to keep my munchkin entertained and learning. I can go on and on...but most importantly, I highly recommend Abacus Children's Academy!

Ms. Sonia has been wonderful with our son. She is incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely cares about the children in her class. We can tell how much she loves and supports our son, and we've seen him learn and grow so much under her care. We are very grateful for everything she does
