Customers frequently cite reasonable pricing, quick turnaround times, and high-quality craftsmanship for services including convertible top replacements, seat reupholstery, and custom fabric work. Positive reviews highlight the professional demeanor of the staff and their ability to match materials effectively for various vehicle types. However, a minority of low-star reviews report negative experiences involving rude phone interactions and installation errors that damaged vehicle wiring, with the owner reportedly offering no apology for the resulting damages.

My MR2 Spyder after 24 years the soft top was finally in need of a replacement. I was very wary as not many people have done replacements on the Spyders here in the Bay Area. Caesar and team did a fantastic job on the replacement with a new Robbins too with the heated rear glass. Very impressed with the quality of work and dedication to ensure that this was done correctly. Caesar was also very responsive with texts and phone calls with any questions even after the top was installed. The price was also very reasonable compared to other quotes that I received for shops who had never done an MR2 Spyder before.
Cesar and team did a great job reupholstering the seat on my Lexus. Very professional and prices were reasonable. Will be returning here if I need more work done in the future.
I contacted Cesar because I was hoping to get a custom made console car seat for my little dog. All the options available in the market were either too big or too small or just inconvenient because of how they attached.
Cesar was extremely professional and friendly and came up with the perfect design that fits the car and ensures the comfort and safety of my pup.
I have really appreciated the communication and attention to detail in addition to his skills and knowledge. Thank you!
My S2000 was way over due for a new top.
Cesar and team did a GREAT job installing a new Robbins Twill Grain Vinyl top with heated rear glass.
Very reasonable price compared to other quotes.
Great experience with ABC Upholstery. I brought in my Mazda 3 hatchback for custom seat covers, and they executed the installation perfectly. The crew is skilled, and you get excellent value for the price. Highly recommend!
I recently took my car in and worked with Cesar. The material on the interior sun roof was sagging and he helped located, order and install the new piece. He was very friendly and helpful and the car looks great!
I have been to 3 different upholstery shops (Walnut Creek and Concord) for estimates on repairs to my convertible top on a 1970 Datsun Roadster. ABC is in my mind without question the best. They got me in right away (the day after I called) unlike the other 3 shops which gave me wait times in months, literally. The prices ABC charged me for the work was way below any estimate from the other 3 shops I consulted. In addition to the top repair I also had ABC install leather over my doors, shift boot and parking brake lever. This work was completed in a matter of days and at such a low cost I had to double check with them to be sure I wasn't imagining things.
Well worth the drive from Danville. Save yourself some time and cash. Go see Cesar at ABC. Super nice, very quick, inexpensive work and excellent workmanship.
This is the 2nd top ABC Auto Upholstery has done for me. What a great job. I honestly don't know who was more excited to see it, me or Ceasar. Great job you did on the 2012 Mustang GT/CS!!
I hope you posted photos of your hard work.
My Lexus center console/arm rest vinyl had a tear, I called around several places and visited a couple if them. I then called ABC upholstery, Ceasar asked me to brung the car in for estimate. He had great attitude and very reasonable prices, he matched the material and the quality.
