Academic Advantage

My daughter went to Academic Advantage wanting to raise her ACT score and left with a 4 point jump. Roddy figured out fast where she was losing points and gave her strategies she actually used on test day instead of generic test-prep advice. He also boosted her confidence and changed her mindset about being “bad at math.” He showed her that she knew the answers, she just needed to get faster at recall. The sessions were structured, and she never dreaded going, which says a lot for a high schooler with a full plate. Four points is well above the average retake gain, and it opened up scholarship options that weren’t on the table before. If you’re looking for ACT help in the area, I highly recommend Academic Advantage.

I can't recommend Academic Advantage highly enough! Mrs. Sarah has been an absolute blessing for my son. For the past several years, he struggled with English reading and writing, and she has been instrumental in helping him build the confidence and skills he needed to succeed. Through her patience, consistency, and dedication, she broke down complex concepts into manageable steps, making them much easier for him to understand, practice, and apply. The results have been truly remarkable. After years of lower scores on his English ATLAS assessments, my son made an incredible breakthrough by the end of last school year. He showed tremendous academic growth and even received an award recognizing his achievement! While we are incredibly proud of him, we also know that this accomplishment is a testament to Mrs. Sarah's unwavering commitment, countless hours of hard work, and genuine love for teaching. She celebrates her students' successes as if they were her own, and it shows. One of the things we appreciate most is her incredible flexibility and willingness to help whenever needed. Whether it's preparing for a test, reviewing a difficult concept, helping with homework, or even stepping in to assist with other subjects like Math, she is always responsive, encouraging, and eager to support her students. Mrs. Sarah has made a lasting impact on our son's academic journey, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done. We look forward to continuing to work with her throughout this school year and for many years to come. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly exceptional tutor, Academic Advantage is the very best choice!

We truly love Academic Advantage! My son needed homework help with Algebra, Geometry and Literature. He was matched with a wonderful tutor, Sarah Fantinel. Sarah has in depth expertise, and teaches in a way that is engaging, while reinforcing learning. She ensures my son is able to work out his Algebra/Geometry problems on his own while pushing him to recall the steps on his own. She also has helped him understand the background of all his required reading in Literature which has resulted in an engaged teen reading historical novels! We have been so pleased we plan to stay with Academic Advantage for the foreseeable future!

My son did well in the math section of the ACT, but wanted to improve it more. Academic Advantage provided the individual, advanced tutoring that he needed. My son improved his score by several points. We were hoping for 1 or 2 extra points, but the improved score far exceeded that. I would recommend Academic Advantage for all your ACT preparation needs.
