We had a pool installed by Jamie and the ADK team and we have never regretted it. Jamie is great to work with and will keep you informed throughout the project and be available to help afterwards as well with anything that may pop up. When you combine that with his team of professionals that he brings to any project you're guaranteed to get an amazing final product.
I highly recommend ADK for all your pool and outdoor projects.

Adirondack Outdoor Design did a fantastic job with both my front and back patios. I recently decided to replace the concrete sidewalk and front porch with the same pavers I had in my back patio. Jamie and his crew ripped out my concrete, graded it to pull water away from the house, laid down new patio pavers and cleaned up everything. The entire project took only two days and we absolutely love it! His crew was polite, efficient and are very skilled at what they do. If you’re looking to upgrade from cement to patio pavers, give Jamie at Adirondack Design a call!

Adirondack Outdoor Design completely transformed our backyard, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From the start, the team stood out as true professionals — combining deep design and materials expertise with the kind of honesty and guidance that made them feel like trusted advisors rather than just contractors.
They took our vision for a pool with a spillover spa, travertine patio, fire pit, grill, and custom Brustor pergola and turned it into something even better than we imagined. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none, and every part of the space feels intentional and beautifully executed.
Throughout the process, the team genuinely cared, and always prioritized quality and doing things right (and not getting it done "fast" or "cheap"). We’ve already recommended Adirondack Outdoor Design to friends and neighbors — they deliver exceptional results with integrity and pride in their work.

Highly recommended pool installer. Jamie and his team were fantastic to work with. High quality service and attention to detail. I am writing this review over 3 years after install and he has still come by when requested to check on things. He stands by his product. Trustworthy and I would suggest anyone interested in a pool to contact him.

Jamie and the entire crew at Adirondack Outdoor are stellar. We just finished a large backyard transformation. We had them install the imagine fanatsy 26' , a cabana, firepit and outdoor grill with refrig. Our yard was not an easy one as it was very hilly requiring retaining walls . The team was amazing . Jamie was always available to us , whether it was to answer questions or offer suggestions - this is priceless.
There was no question in who we were going to hire once we met with Jamie and we are so glad we did!
Our yard is beautiful . If you are considering doing a backyard renovation, pool or anything offered by Adironack, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you again for backyard paradise!!

I am a little bit behind in writing this review but would be remiss if I did not. I was referred to Adirondack Outdoor Designs by a couple of friends back in early 2022 when I began my due diligence on pool companies in the Charlotte area. I was planning on meeting with and getting quotes from at least 5-7 companies. Jamie and Adirondack were 3rd on that list. I was very unimpressed with the first two companies because it was literally a 1-1.5 hr sales pitch which being in sales isn’t what I was looking for.
Jamie walked into my backyard and we immediately hit it off. His approach was exactly what I was looking for and expecting which was, tell me what you want and let’s discuss options. He also informed me that my whole backyard would be completed and transformed into a tropical oasis in about 2 weeks start to finish which I found hard to believe. After our initial consultation I decided I was going with Adirondack and cancelled the appointments with the other pool companies.
Within a few days I was under contract with a tentative start date. When the first crew arrived to install the pool and run plumbing/ electrical it was pouring down rain for most of the day that turned into snow showers in the afternoon. Even so that crew completed their work in 1 day and I had a functional pool in my backyard.
A few days later the other crew came in to complete the patio with travertine, demo/rebuilt the existing fire pit and stairs. They absolutely crushed it and my backyard went from looking like a war zone to a completed backyard in 2.5 weeks including landscaping.
I was very skeptical that a project of this size could be completed in a few weeks but Adirondack was able to make it happen. If you are looking for a true turnkey backyard then I would highly recommend them. Not only was it a great experience but it was great working with Jamie and his crews.

Jamie and the ADK Team were truly amazing!! We found them completely by chance, through a neighbor, who had just used their company. We were a little nervous about the whole process. We'd heard horror stories about some of the larger companies in the area, and almost completely scrapped the idea of a pool install. Jamie was friendly, honest and professional throughout the entire process. He genuinely cares about his work, the satisfaction of his clients and takes pride in what he does. They show up when they say they will, they are respectful and clean, and get a quality job done with efficiency. Would give him six stars if I could!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Adirondack Outdoor Design is a fantastic company. They recently installed a swimming pool and built a travertine patio for us. I want to talk about three aspects of our experience.
1. Quality: The quality of the work performed by Jamie’s team and the quality of the products they use are outstanding. From pool installation through patio construction, everything is top notch.
2. Speed: ground breaking for our pool occurred in late January. By the end of February we were enjoying our hot tub. I know people who have been dealing with pool construction for months. No such problem for us.
3. Service: The service provided by Jamie and his team is top notch. I want to give just one example. After starting up the gas line for the spa heater, apparently our hot water heater pilot went out. We didn’t notice until later in the evening. I attempted to restart the pilot but wasn’t getting any spark. So I texted Jamie and just asked if he knew someone who could come check it out. Jamie himself came to my house in the middle of the night and worked on the issue for about an hour until the pilot light finally lit again. Fantastic service!!
1000% would recommend Adirondack Outdoor Design to anyone interested in any kind of outdoor work whether it be a pool, patio, or something else.
Positive: Responsiveness, Punctuality, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Services: Fiberglass swimming pool construction

Jamie and his crew at Adirondack Outdoor Design just finished up our Illusion 35’ pool and patio installation. After meeting with several other pool builders we went with Jamie because he seemed like the best fit and was open and honest from the beginning. That was the best decision we made. If you’re considering going with another pool builder… STOP! Go with Jamie at Adirondack Outdoor Design and you will not be disappointed. I never write reviews but that’s how happy I am with the top notch work they did. Installing a pool Is stressful but Jamie walks you through the entire process and took care of every single need we had. I hear and read of the nightmares other people have experienced with pool builders. With Jamie, you can be assured that won’t happen and I honestly mean every single word in this review.

No words. The best of the best. Jamie and his team are beyond craftsmen and professionals. We literally broke a contract with another company because we felt so much more comfortable with ADK and it was the BEST decision. Our pool and hardscape is better than what my husband and I could have ever imagined and we can’t believe it’s ours! Don’t hesitate to use these guys for your backyard oasis, it’s an absolute no brainer.
