This place does amazing work. And the new location, while a little hard to find, is very nice.
Gracias por la atención, y hacerme sentir tan cómoda! Gracias por esta ayuda! Un caricia
The Adult Literacy League is a wonderful and vital organization that helps adults master English and address the many challenges of everyday communication in American society. In addition to direct language instruction, which teachers provide in group and individual lessons, both remotely and in person, the organization hosts numerous cultural events for students. All of this greatly helps newcomers to the United States embrace the spirit of this great country and successfully adapt. The Adult Literacy League's undoubted success in this area is largely due to the abilities and personal qualities of its director, Gina Solomon. At the last meeting, for example, we were shown how to make pumpkin decorations for Halloween. In short, studying at the Adult Literacy League, you'll learn everything you need to know about life in the United States. The Adult Literacy League works with people of all ages and levels of English. Those who want to improve their English are provided with the necessary learning materials. Group classes cover a variety of topics, including conversational language, grammar, and more, so everyone can find the perfect course for them.
How can I start learn English Adult Literacy League
What a terrific organization empowering people to read, write and speak English
**I highly recommend** What a blessing this Organization is. I'm so grateful I was referred to them. I'm still in the beginning stages, but I can tell you every person there is kind, encouraging, and genuinely want to see you succeed. It's hard sometimes to find organizations who are really working to help the people and I can honestly say that Adult Literacy is one that is just how an organization should be. You may experience some delays in getting a hold of someone during busy time's, however they will get back to you and get you the support you need to accomplish your learning goals. I have been paired up with an amazing Math Tutor who is excited about helping me and giving me the tools to achieve my testing goal. Thank you, Adult Literacy for offering this support as it's greatly appreciated. 🙏🏼💕
I went to get assistance in getting a tutor, they asked allot of questions to see where I was in school levels. Hopefully they will find someone to help
I was well taken care of by the whole staff and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking forward to furthering their education
Thank you so much, Michael! It's our honor and pleasure to serve.
There's No Place Like Home....
One of the best non-profits in Central Florida. I've been involved as a tutor and instructor for over thirty years. Their staff is great to students, volunteers and the community at large. They have classes all over Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. It's easy to get help near where you live or work. If you need help with speaking English, reading and writing, or even math, this is a great place to start. If you're looking to volunteer, this is a great place to make a real difference.
