Aegis Home Health & Hospice

Aegis Hospice was great! My mother and step father both used Aegis Hospice. They are very caring and go above and beyond. Noda even had people that volunteered their time to sit with mom for hours at a time. They read to her and played music for her. I had to work and they made sure that mom was not alone. Everyone very caring and loving. Chaplin came weekly and played guitar and sang to her. I've had social work have people visit her as well. Hospice had people follow mom when she was off hospice and come to check on her regularly and even dance with mom. I could not say enough good things about everyone. Unbelievable Team. Thank you to all of the great things that you all do!

I can't thank the Aegis hospice team enough. My mom experienced the most compassionate team she/we could had ever hoped for. Margo, Danae, Miranda along with many others helped my mom & myself through the most difficult time in our lives. I know I couldn't have done it without them & I am very greatful. Even after my mom has passed, they continue to reach out to see if I'm okay. They also helped me with aftercare assistance with final affairs that I wouldn't of thought of. Thank you to all the caring team at Aegis.

Aegis Home Health & Hospice were great to work with. Not only were they professional, but very caring and understanding of my brother's welfare and I believe helped Gary feel comfortable during this difficult transition. I would highly recommend them!

Aegis staff was always available and helpful throughout the entire process of transition for my uncle. Offering support through this tough time. Hospice is so needed during this difficult stage of life. They help keep things flowing and supported.

Our mom passed away peacefully at the end of September at Vesta House. Her condition had changed rapidly while at the hospital and we were referred to Aegis by Atlas Medical. We were truly in a time of need (fast) and arrangements for her transfer to Vesta House was smooth and very timely. Thank you Kayleigh. During our Mom’s short stay at Vesta, they were most attentive, kind, professional with the care they provided for our mom (and us, the family). Thank you to Bonna, Kathy, Victoria, Chaplain Paul and social worker Cheryl for making this possible. You answered all our questions and were thoughtful and attentive to us and our requests in our time of need. My sister and I could not have asked for a better team to take care of our mom in her final days. Additionally, Fay conducted an “after care” call with my sister and I that was helpful and informative. Thank you for this service. We highly recommend Aegis Hospice.

I cannot thank Aegis Home Health & Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion given to my father and family during such a difficult time. After two stays in the hospital which only worsened my father’s condition, the owner and caregivers at Accolade Assisted Living reached out to Aegis Hospice. They were there immediately. They were kind, gentle, compassionate and so caring. They kept me advised always of their visits and how my dad was doing. Within 4 months he recovered and graduated from Hospice. He was able to resume doing what he enjoyed for a few months until the end of his life. When that time drew near, Hospice was there immediately and again cared for him with love, compassion and caring. I want to thank Lisa, Heather, Cheryl, the Chaplain, Anna, Caleb and all the others who were there for my dad and our family. I also want to thank Michelle with After Care who helped with the details after my dad passed. I had no idea how wonderful Hospice was until I had to navigate through this very difficult time. Aegis was wonderful. It was through a recommendation that we even considered Aegis having been referred to another Hospice company by our oncologist. I'm so glad we listened. Although we had our initial evaluation with Aegis, we were not what they refer to as "admitted". My husband's condition worsened quickly so I needed to make a very early call to Aegis. They literally came running & within a few hours tended to my husband's urgent needs. I'm so grateful for the hospice nurses who attended him & educated our family as to what we would see as his mortal life came to an end. As all our family gathered around their dad & grandpa it was a beautiful, peaceful experience. Our thanks to Angie & Danae in the Mesa, AZ office for their kindness, care & compassion.

Aegis was recommended to me by the Placement Agent who was helping me find care when my mother started declining rapidly earlier this year. Angie Fitzpatick met with us to talk through the process of Hospice care. She was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. Angie and Nic (the intake nurse) even met us as my mother was being transferred to the Assisted Living Home. My mother was assigned Cheryl as her Social Worker, Anmarie and Florence as her nurses, and James as her Chaplain. Each of these caring professionals kept in contact with me and my mother's caregivers. While my mom was only under Hospice care for a little over a month, I felt as if these caring individuals became a lifeline through a very difficult life stage. Anmarie was there on the last day. She gently and compassionately explained how the last hours would go and what we could expect. Her hug let me know what she does is more than a job for her, but a calling. Aegis also provided Aftercare services, which were very informative. This was the first time we have had to go through this process, and having someone to walk us through all the details that need to be taken care of and thought through was invaluable. I would like to thank Aegis for all of their warmth, care, and love through such a difficult time. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family.
