Reviewers highlight the facility's clean equipment, friendly staff, and varied amenities such as a pool, basketball courts, and running track. Alumni and students appreciate the discounted rates and the welcoming environment for workouts and community events. However, recurring criticisms include the pool frequently closing due to chemical issues and unexpected early closures that disrupt scheduled workout times.

ARC is an excellent place to strengthen your core and mind 😀 Otis is the manager, and he ensures the facility is in good condition 👍🏾 His staff are professionals, courteous, and helpful 😀 We enjoyed our tour so much we joined the alumni program so we could support the University 🤩 5☆ Easy

The pool is always closed because “the chemicals are too high.” This is a consistent problem. The school may want to retrain its lifeguards, or find someone else who handle the equipment appropriately. The lifeguards may be taking paychecks while seeking to avoid actual work.

i go to the aggie rec center regularly because i am a cameron student and was very pleased with the place until tonight when i tried to go in at 8:30pm on a thursday (not a holiday week) when it closes at 10pm and the doors are locked. they decided to close early and apparently did the same thing tuesday night as well. it’s upsetting when i’m trying to fit a workout in to my tight schedule. i literally had work early this morning and just got off and this is what i run into, unreliable hours!! idk who is making these decisions but be so for real 🙄
