Joe and everyone else there make the learning experience very enjoyable. There are a bunch of more experienced guys there that are always looking to help out. Muay Thai is also a great class with both Greg and Alex. Theyre both coaches who very are patient, and helpful. Ive learned a lot from both classes and all of the people there. I would definitely recommend this gym to anybody looking to get into Jiu Jitsu or Muay Thai.
I stopped in for one class. Great environment and learned a lot. Highly recommend.
Joe Ahlert is a great jiu jitsu teacher. His school is a great place to train. Friendly environment and very knowledgeable staff of teachers. Stop in and give it a try. You won’t regret it.
Love training at Ahlert Jiu Jitsu! Professor Joe Ahlert is an outstanding instructor with decades of high-level experience under Renzo Gracie. His detailed teaching makes techniques clear and practical whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. The gym has a welcoming, supportive atmosphere with great training partners. I’ve made solid progress in my technique, confidence, fitness, and self-defense skills. If you’re looking to start BJJ or level up, I highly recommend Ahlert Jiu Jitsu!

Thank you so much Vin! 🙏 We try hard to keep a fun yet motivating atmosphere for students to thrive in learning self defense!
Started class here this week, the instructors and staff are super welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable. Immediately I could sense the family oriented style that they uphold which transfers over to the students as well. Super glad I chose this gym over anywhere else!

No one does it better than Joe Alhert. Joe has built a team of highly passionate coaches that range from grappling to striking. If you are looking for a place to start training look no further. Seriously, the prices Joe offers for his expertise are unbeatable. Not to mention direct lineage from the Gracie family that really shows in lessons/training.
