Our 20 Year old Central AC decided that it had enough on the Hottest Day of the year. I did a quick search in the San Jose area and find Air Care with some terrific reviews. Brian was out to see us the next morning, quickly diagnosing the issue and recommending some options. I was bracing myself for the usual hustle of, "you need to buy a whole new AC System", but Brian indicated that we could make the repairs and get it up and running again. But, we needed a part that they would have to order. As soon as the part was available, Brian was back, fixed everything and buttoned it back up. Brian even checked that the cooling in the house was uniform be measuring the temperature differential in a couple of different rooms. Overall, I am very, very pleased with the outcome. Air Care may not be the cheapest, but you are going to get honest and reliable guidance, quality work and great professionalism. Their card is now on the Fridge, if I ever need help again.

We have a silver maintenance contract for our heat pump HVAC system and last week was our scheduled fall inspection visit. Our tech Fernando once again did a great job of inspecting every nook and cranny of our system, but try as he might, he couldn't find anything worrying to report. Everything was in great shape and we're ready to get through the next winter and into next spring. We've been really happy with our selection of Air Care Heating & Cooling for the installation and ongoing maintenance of our heat pump HVAC system and we highly recommend them.

Air Care was recommended to me by a family member who had used them, and I’m so happy I found them. We hired them to replace our outdated and inefficient gas furnace and AC compressor with a new heat pump and air handler system, including all new ducting. From initial consult to final installation, everything was incredibly smooth. Roberto visited our home to discuss options, did a thorough Manual J calculation to determine the exact heating and cooling load to size our system appropriately, and was incredibly patient answering multiple rounds of questions we had about the system. Adolph and Chris were our install team and were wonderful. We’ve had to do a lot of work to our home with a lot of different trades, and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever had tradespeople be so mindful of our home. The communication was clear, from what time they would be starting and ending, to exactly what work was done each day and questions along the way. They kept our home clean, tried to stay quiet during kids’ naps, were so caring around our dog, and were just overall incredibly respectful and kind. We’ve only had this system for a few days but have already felt a difference in our efficiency and air flow. It was a great experience start to end, and I’d happily recommend them.

My AC conked out 2 months ago and it was in the middle of summer and we were suffering. I live at a place where we have HOA and rules. First Step: Roberto came did a thorough investigation with his tools and told me - you have a 2.5 ton system and you do not need a 2.5 ton - my readings say you need a 2 ton system. Earlier that day another comany came by and without doing any measurements told me you will need a 3 ton system Second Step:Victoria worked with my HOA to get the approval Third Step: Victoria worked with San Jose City to pull the permit Fourth Step: Roberto got me a 0% loan 18 month loan as well Fifth Step: Adolph and Chris worked 2 full straight days and replaced the HVAC system. They were super professional, caring towards my aging dogs, cleaned up both days. The work was A+ They know their $hit Sixth Step: An independent company came to check the work and they used measuring tools etc. And gave a thumbs up. We live in a multi storied town home so there is a sensor on the first floor as well. My wife and I have notice - the air conditioning is not in your face any more - earlier it was too much. Now it is subtle and very comfortable. We have gratitude for Adolph, Chris, Roberto and Victoria for making this an amazing experience. We have stayed in this home for 22 years and it got the love and care it needed from the Air Care Heating & Cooling Team! Thank YOU!
