Eric came to my house a few weeks ago and seemed very nice and knowledgeable. We discussed some issues with the attic. He told me he would get back to me the following week. Over two weeks later and multiple phone calls to Eric and the Airlock phone attendant, I haven’t heard anything back. It was very disappointing since Eric was really helpful in person. I have heard very good things about the company, however, my experience has been poor.

Attic insulation. My experience with Airlock from salesman Eric to installers Devon, Owen, Alex and Mike was terrific from start to finish. Eric was knowledgeable, thorough, and responsive. I was impressed with the installer’s attention to detail, communication, and overall consciousness. They took many pictures, pointed out where problems existed and thoroughly explained the process. They were all no nonsense and focused on their work. Airlock was a smart decision.

Contacted Airlock to discuss insulation for my house and for my crawlspace. From the very first phone call until the end of the finished job, they were awesome. The person who set up the appointment for an estimate was so helpful, and took a lot of time to answer every question that I had about the company and the process. Then I met Eric, who did the actual estimate. He went above and beyond to explain every part of the job and gave me a complete quote at that meeting. He explained several possible ways to give me the results that I wanted and picked the best one for my house. He never tried to oversell the job like a lot of companies do. Again, took the time to make sure I was comfortable and addressed every one of my concerns. The job was going to take almost 2 days, but bad weather was in the forecast, so they decided to send extra people to get it all done in one day. First person to show up was Joe, who owns the company. The crew showed up, they were well aware of all the things that had to be done and got to work immediately. They worked all day, into the evening and it was dark outside when they finally finished. They all worked together to get everything done, it was a true team effort. The guys are professional, hard working and they did a great job. They cleaned up everything before they left. Overall, I satisfied with the work and the results. I would not hesitate to call them again, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Had the old, matted down insulation removed and new installation blown into the attic area. Openings in the ceiling around lights, fans, ect. were sealed. New baffles also installed. This occurred summer of 2025. There were no ice dams this winter. Amazing as last year icicles were two feet long along the roof line. It's very obvious the new insulation made a big difference.
During the summer, the work crew was very good. Polite, professional, and efficient. If I remember correctly, in and out in a single day.

We contacted Airlock Insulation and spoke with Cheryl. She was able to get us scheduled quickly and provided a lot of information about their process and services and explained in detail the difference between each product. I was highly impressed with her knowledge and the time she spent explaining everything. The company offers a great product at a great price. Unfortunately, we had to put our project on hold but definitely recommend Airlock Insulation!

I'm in the construction field now and have been for half a century. To find a company and crew as excellent as this one is unfortunately today next to impossible. I requested bids on fully insulating my families large 1949 home 3 months ago. Not only did Ryan the sales manager show up a few minutes early but he had Joseph the owner with him. I thought I was in for one of those arm twisting sales meetings but I was way wrong! I showed them the job and the two of them answered each of my rather technical questions very clearly. They then checked their measurements twice and told me the cost would be if I chose their company.
Because they use a higher quality and safer insulation material than the other bidders use and they also had the best price, I gave them a very modest deposit. Here's what happened..
They showed up the morning they promised. Within a few minutes the men had covered all of the important areas of my newly finished wood floors AND took off their boots and covered the attic stairs. What I saw next was amazing. In my extensive experience over thousands of commercial and home builds and renovations, I have not seen a crew so organized, full of knowledge, pleasant, hard working and overly efficient as I witnessed over the next two days. Each guy knew exactly what part in this orchestration he was responsible for. From my driveway they set up their amazing equipment through an attic window and began removing the existing hidden filthy insulation that my father, brother and I installed in 1964. I wish I had truck mounted vacuums like those! They removed siding on the full perimeter of this large home and installed wall insulation top to bottom in the same day. They replaced the plugs they had cut in the wall sheathing and weather sealed them before replacing the same weather boards so well that nobody sees any cuts. No dust or dirt got in the envelope either! The crew was 5-7 men depending on the time of day. They completed all ceilings and all exterior walls a day early. I happily bought them lunch & tipped them each! I can't recommend Airlock Insulation more. All of them are very considerate with high morals and non-stop manners and concern!! They then vacuumed the place and after they left I surveyed the work and was amazed at how clean and professional the job looks. They were each a blast to have in my home working and I hope to bump into each of them again somewhere. Even Josephs sons worked at the same levels as the rest.. non-stop. That's rare in my world too. Thanks guys, your the best.
