Very pleased with the end result of new garage doors ordered and installed by Akron Canton Garage Doors. Also pleased with the overall process, communication, professionalism, attention to detail and friendliness of John and Troy. A shout-out also in order to Nathan at Weaver Home Solutions for the attractive metal trim work around the door openings.

It was a pleasire working with you too Tom. We don't get to give our customers reviews but you would get 5-stars all day! I especially appreciated the grilling and mint sweet tea!
AKRON CANTON GARAGE DOORS installed a beautiful garage door for me about a year ago. Yesterday I was having an issue and they returned to check out the problem. It was something minor that they were able to explain to me how I could remedy. John noticed that I needed a repair on my downspout. I explained that yes I needed to make the repair and when I had some extra time, I would tackle the job. John said well you’ll need to get your ladder out and get a drill. We’ll just fix it for you right now. And that’s exactly what they did. Akron Canton Garage Doors have always provided great service and this was just the icing on the cake! They offered and repaired my downspout for FREE and without me even asking it to be repaired by them. What a great company and caring owners. I would highly recommend them.

While we appreciate the review and kind words, the downspout work was supposed to be a secret between us. We're just garage door guys ;)
I highly recommend Akron Canton Garage Doors! My door opener reached the end of its life after 20 years. I called Akron Canton Garage Doors and talked to John Marsden. He quoted me on a Liftmaster opener with a fair price. He came out the same day and installed it, set it up with my phone, went over everything with me, and cleaned everything up. Very professional job! I would definitely use them again for any garage door repairs, new door, or opener! Very trustworthy and you will not be disappointed!
I would normally wait to review, but they just left and I'm pretty happy with the experience. The price was solid for an insulated door, and they were low pressure as i went thru an extended process of checking out various companies. I asked frequent questions to which i received prompt answers. And once i settled on them, they came out quickly and removed the old and installed the new in about 3 hours. And since i had removed the old trim but not yet installed the underpieces for the new trim, i assumed I'd need to install the trim myself later. But nope. When i mentioned it they said to just call them once i get the 1x3 pieces and they would come back and finish the job. Because it's a door and not a device, i feel confident I'm not reviewing them too early. But if there is a problem i will come back and update. But i don't expect any problems.

Thank you David. We really appreciate you taking the time to give us the review.
John did a phenomenal job with fixing my busted up door and was also honest about the need for new one. He could have just price me for a new door and been done. If you would like fair pricing, top notch professionalism and someone that will put the customer first, then John is your guy!

Wow! These two gentlemen were attentive in diagnosing my problem and gave me options. I chose a new opener to be installed on a day that I went to work. They were here and installed my opener, called when they finished, cleaned up and locked up. I cannot tell you how important honest people are in our world today! My new opener is wonderful, quiet and smooth. What a relief and pleasant surprise when I got home. These two men have earned the title of professional! Thank you! I would highly recommend!
