Alair Homes Kirkland

• Home renovations

I appreciated that the workers treated the property respectfully during construction. Materials were organized neatly and trash wasn’t constantly scattered around the site. We changed a lighting selection pretty late into the process and expected frustration, but the builder handled it smoothly. The finished house feels warm and functional instead of looking like every other new build in the neighborhood.

We worked with Alair on a new construction project on a difficult lot. They did a great job of managing scope, budget and our expectations but also keeping our neighbors informed to what was happening and when. We really appreciated Kevin and Ryan’s effort on that front.

Thank you Alair! Stacy, Beth, Gordon, and the entire Alair team are absolute professionals and great people to work with. I had the pleasure of capturing photography for one of their incredible panoramic Lake Washington Custom Homes. The overall communication, scouting, preparation, and care shown by their team quickly show why they're the best in the industry.

We worked with Alair during the planning phase for a whole home remodel, and of all the companies we evaluated, they truly stood out. From the beginning, the team appreciated our home and its unique character, never treating it as an impossible undertaking. Their responsiveness—both over email and phone—was exceptional, and their clarity around fees and process gave us a lot of confidence. They were also incredibly patient as we explored options with different architects, and ultimately, when we made the difficult decision to purchase a new home instead of remodeling, they showed nothing but professionalism and grace. While we didn’t move forward with the project, our experience with Alair was outstanding, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others.

We were immediately drawn to this property for its stunning views of the Puget Sound, as well as its proximity to the neighborhood where we both grew up. Its convenient location near our children's school makes it an ideal family home. Our home features a sleek, modern exterior with a bridge overlooking the lower-floor courtyard that floods the space with natural light and provides a tranquil zen space. It features exquisite carpentry craftsmanship, with Scandinavian wood tones that complement the sleek hues of quartz throughout the kitchen. The elegant kitchen seamlessly flows into the expansive great room, creating an open and airy living space perfect for entertaining, while the gorgeous master bathroom provides a serene escape. The wine room adds an elegant touch, while the custom-crafted dining nook creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With its tall ceilings, this area offers a bright, airy atmosphere that feels far from a typical walk-out basement. A standout feature of the home is its state-of-the-art heating and cooling system, which offers individualized climate control in every bedroom, bathroom, as well as the kitchen, dining room, gym, family room, living room, and even the garage. This innovative system ensures that everyone enjoys personalized comfort, no matter the season. The in-floor heating system offers quiet, consistent warmth during the fall, winter, and spring, enhancing comfort while also reducing airborne dust and allergens. This, combined with the home's exceptional energy efficiency and airtight construction, creates a healthier living environment for all.
