Joni is awesome! We took the Obedience 1 and 2 classes with her. My puppy is well on her way to becoming a therapy dog due to her training here. I highly recommend this place!

Wow! This was a great experience for us and our two dogs — a Labrador Retriever and Boston Terrier. Both with a lot of energy that needed channeling. They learned basic manners and tricks. Joni, the trainer, has decades of experience and was patient with everyone. And it’s also a great value. Highly recommend
Wren has become the best version of herself thanks to Joni! From a puppy who was scared to go even near the agility tunnel, to excitedly going through, she is confident, happy, and calm even in large crowds now. The Alamo Dog Obedience club has given us the opportunity to find new experiences for her, and are currently doing scentwork. The classes are so great that we usually see familiar dog (and human!) faces even in the new sessions, and can't wait to see what more lies ahead 😊 Joni has been training dogs and their humans for decades, and her love for the dogs, passion in giving them the best lives, and patience with the humans in helping us get there is truly unmatched, and we are so happy to have found her and the club.
What a great place to bring our dog for the basic manners class! He did great and we had a ball. Our teacher Joni is the best - fun, engaging, wise and helpful. Not sure who benefited more, the dogs or the people. We are excited for more classes!

Highly recommend Alamo Dog Obedience Club! The scent work classes give my working bread dog a job and it’s the only thing that tires her out. We look forward to it weekly! I’m so thankful I found Joni too! She’s a true professional who’s taught us so much!
