Alex tree service did an outstanding job for a great price on my large front tree and a backyard tree was overhanging from the neighbors yard onto the low voltage lines and into my yard. The crew was extremely polite, worked efficiently, and the cleanup made the entire yard look better than when they arrived. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Outstanding work!
The property had been vacant and overgrown for years in Pasadena, CA. Several trees were encroaching on my neighbors yard. They cleaned up everything very thoroughly, while being very careful to avoid damaging an inoperable vintage car that was covered by branches. Alex is a good guy who takes pride in doing a good job. On this huge job, he made sure he understood exactly how much I wanted every tree and bush trimmed back. All this at a fair price for the size of the job.
Very strongly recommended!

Just had four palm trees cut and trimmed by Alex and his crew of six. They did an awesome job! They were all very polite and left my yard looking cleaner than the way it looked before they started. I highly recommend Alex's Tree Service and look forward to contacting them again in the near future.

I had a wonderful experience with Alex Tree Service. They did a fantastic huge job in a day despite occasional sprinkles. They were so polite and hard working. They cleaned up the yard completely after all the tree removals, and pine trees thinned out so I do not have to worry about the winds or El Nino rain. They were especially careful of all my new and old flower gardens too. I recommend them highly. They are so much better than services I have used in thr past.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review! Handling major tree removals and thinning out heavy pines safely—even with a bit of weather—is always a priority for our team, so we’re thrilled to hear you have peace of mind ahead of the wind and rain. Taking extra care around delicate flower gardens and leaving the property spotless is standard for us, and knowing we stood out from past services means a lot to our crew. We deeply appreciate your trust, business, and high recommendation!

Need the option of additional stars for better than 5. Alex and his crew WAY EXCEEDED our expectant expectations. They were pleasant, quick, and incredibly thorough with every aspect of their commitment. They switched gears to include trimming another three to help the tree fix years of previous bad cuts
The removed tree? One would never know it had been there. The stump grinding work was superb; the ground is flat as a pancake.
The clean-up! Wow! Both sides of the fence, nary a leaf or dirt clod.
And to top it off, this voluntary tree was 6" from the curb, encrusted into the curb, twisted into cracks it had made. Hopeless to save the curb. We had said ok to take out the curb as needed, but Alex's crew were better than the braggy potato chip guy. Somehow, and I cannot explain how due to the size of the tree with huge trunk/root system, the FULL curb was left intact, nary an added crack.
I'm sorry. I can't find a darn thing to complain about them. Even pricing was good. AND, Alex knows his tree types and names.
It is difficult to discern responsible crews these days. I would well recommend Alex and his.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed and kind review! Preserving structural elements like your curb while completing a full removal and stump grind definitely takes extra patience and precision. We’re thrilled that our crew met every expectation and left the entire area spotless on both sides of the fence. We truly appreciate your recommendation and business!

Alex and his team were prompt, polite, and very efficient. We had three oaks long overdue for pruning, with overhangs into multiple neighboring yards, and with terrible access to boot. They prepped, tarped, thoroughly cleaned, and restored all four yards cleaner than they were! The oaks look beautiful and balanced. I'm glad we found this multi-generational local business and look forward to a long term relationship with them.
I honestly don't know if they were the cheapest price, but they give excellent value, which in my opinion is the key criterion, especially for oak trees. This is an experienced crew who does things right, and are worth every dollar.
I had to find a 'before' photo so you could see just how much work they did.

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and for trusting us with your oak trees! Pruning mature oaks takes extra care and precision, especially when navigating tight spaces and neighboring property lines. We always aim to treat every yard as if it were our own, so knowing all four properties were left spotless means a lot to our team. We truly appreciate your business and look forward to working with you for years to come!
