I have had some work done on my neck and shoulder, releasing the fascia from breast surgery 18 years ago. And with that release of the fascia, my dentures no longer fitted in my mouth. One session with Melanie doing craniosacral therapy and I am able to put my dentures back in my mouth with NO pain, I can chew, I eat, and I can smile. I am so grateful, she is a wonder woman she’s magical.🪄🥰🥰

I have had a number of very fruitful sessions with Melanie that have added up to a practical change in how I hold myself, walk, eat, breathe and feel. She is a truly holistic healer. By that I mean that she combines a thorough knowledge of human anatomy, along with how trauma of all kinds helps to pattern our physical structure and functioning, as well as how to gently change key change points, and recombine them all into a healthier balance. She is also very knowledgable about many other health oriented modalities that have been relevant to my overall health. I initially came with a knee pain. She helped me understand how this was the end result of a lifetime of postural and moving habits, some of them due to trauma of many kinds. She combined this understanding with an astute and gradual introduction of gentle and precise body/mind exercises to restore health and harmonious functioning and less knee strain. Melanie is a good as it gets! You will alway leave each session feeling more educated, empowered and hopeful. Tell your friends, she's a most precious resource!

My first evaluation appointment with Dr. Melanie was a real eye opener. She was able to untangle a weird combination of physical symptoms and start addressing root causes. Imagine going in for a shoulder issue and now working on hips! One great outcome of the visit is that Melanie showed that I am not stuck with a post-surgical physical deformity. She was able to uncover a weird holding pattern that she and I are now working to release. Melanie is an excellent listener and her expertise combined with compassion and caring are beyond compare. Not only is Melanie a dear friend but I have to say she is the most knowledgeable, caring, concerned listener when I come for help with any physical body issues. Professional, caring and genuine!

My experience with Melanie was a positive one. In a little over an hour she zeroed in on some very old injuries (I'm 55): a bad broad jump in 8th grade, a car accident at 16 both were still evident to her trained eyes and hands. Looking at the insoles of my shoes told her which was my dominant step, and how I walked. She took pictures of me from all 4 sides and filmed me walking towards and away from her. Comparing the two sets of photos, I could see what she saw, and the improvement between the two made it plain that she had set me on the path to healing my frame. The exercises she sent me home with are simple, and I feel better when I do them. I look forward to further work with her as we peel back the layers of time. She is showing me how to communicate with that primitive part of my body~mind that is only trying to protect me. The somatic exercises she gave me are the method by which my thinking, conscious mind can communicate with my primitive mind and convey the message that it's ok to let go and soften, that I am safe. There is nothing forceful about her technique, and it has begun to resolve my issues in real time. It's really quite amazing.
