All Dogs Allowed

I can't recommend Nora at All Dogs Allowed enough. My dog was severely leash reactive — barking and lunging any time we passed another person. It got to the point where I was walking him at 5:30am just to avoid encountering anyone, and if I had to go out later, I'd spot someone coming and turn around, sometimes doing this multiple times in one walk. A simple 15-minute loop could turn into a stressful 45-minute maze of avoidance. After just a short session with Nora, everything changed. She taught me techniques that completely transformed how my dog responds on walks. We are only on day 5 and the transformation is already more than I expected. He went from aggressive barking and lunging to staying calm and focused on me when we pass people. We finally have our peaceful walks back, and I feel so much more confident taking him out, even when the neighborhood is busy. What stood out most is that Nora's approach is all positive reinforcement, never fear-based. She's incredibly patient and clearly knows what she's doing. If your dog struggles with reactivity, I can't recommend her highly enough.

Remy is amazing! She's been working with my me & my anxious blind dog for several private training sessions, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. My dog has seen such an improvement from when we started just a few months ago. Remy is so knowledgeable, thorough, and patient and went above & beyond to bring along trainer Dave on our last session to work on my dog's fear of men. I couldn't be more impressed with Remy (and Dave!) and with All Dogs Allowed. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place to go to help your relationship with your dog, discover skills you will both learn, and a ton of compassion and understanding about “issues” you’re facing in dog ownership, All Dogs Allowed is exactly the place you need. Seven weeks ago I thought I had a pretty good relationship with my boy Buddy, but looking back over the last several weeks our relationship has grown in amazing ways. Our Foundations Class trainers, Katie and Henry, have shown nothing but love and care to us as I have learned to navigate owning a teenaged dog. Buddy has not only learned some tricks, but he has also learned how to relax in busy situations, I have learned how to give him the best chance possible to succeed, and I think the biggest thing we have both learned is to give each other some grace. I will 100% always recommend All Dogs Allowed to anyone who needs dog training, these are some truly fantastic people.

My Maltese puppy Truman attended the Puppy Socialization Class and the Puppy Training Class. Both were taught by Henry, who did a great job. Truman loved the play time, of course. I have also worked with the owner Nora with regard to some behavioral issues related to adolescent rebellion and some regression. Nora is extremely knowledgeable and also very patient and understanding.

Our greyhound Adolin gets very excited around people and dogs! We had 4 training sessions with Remy and she taught us so much. We learned how to manage the excitement levels, techniques for meeting new people and we even practiced meeting her dog. It has been 2 months since our last lesson and Adolin continues to learn and grow. We just got back from a mountain trip where he passed people on trails easily and even met a few people at a brewery. We highly recommend All Dogs Allowed.

We have loved every second of group training with All Dogs Allowed! Our border collie has completed both the successful socialization and puppy STARters courses with Henry, and our golden retriever is enjoying her successful socialization class now. Henry has been an amazing guide on teaching basic obedience and navigating unwanted puppy behaviors. He and other staff that have popped in for classes have been very attentive with the pups, and seem to truly care for their success in training. We look forward to continued classes with our dogs, and always appreciate leaving class with a tired pup!

We have two rescue dogs that needed a lot of help building confidence and getting exposure to other dogs. All Dogs Allowed has helped us tremendously. When we came to our first class we were pretty desperate- our first dog was really struggling with leash reactivity we didn’t know how to help him. After completing a few classes at All Dogs, he is more confident and calm, and we built the skills to work through challenges with him. We are so grateful for their staff who truly love our boys and make us feel so welcome and accepted.

We had a really good experience with All Dogs Allowed in Cary. Henry and the staff were awesome — kind, attentive, and clearly good with the dogs. It was always fun for them, and we appreciated knowing they were in good hands.

I can’t recommend All Dogs Allowed enough. We started training our puppers about a year ago when he was 12 weeks. He has been through several training classes, many day trainings, and a few in home training sessions. Their methods work. To be clear they will give you a plan and the tools. If you roll up your sleeves and follow it, do the work, etc. you will see results. The staff are knowledgeable, nice and so easy to work with. 5 stars and highly recommend no question!
