We had a lame horse and they got us in very quickly. We spent 3 1/2 hours examining and thoroughly going over every possible thing that could be wrong. Dr Walker and her tech were amazing. She found the source and our horse was already feeling better by that evening. Couldn’t be more thankful.
I hauled in my horse for a lameness exam with diagnostics, and I was so impressed with Dr. Tracy Walker and her team. The front desk staff is so very nice, her tech was great, and Dr. Walker was so incredible. She was able to diagnose my horse within minutes just by watching him walk and then manually extending his…

We had a wonderful experience at Allegheny Equine! We brought in our very timid donkey for castration & they took great care of him before and after surgery.
Wonderful!
Dr .Walker and Dr. Martin just did annual exams and vaccs on my three horses with thoroughness, caring and compassion. They addressed my concerns and took time to be sure all of my questions were addressed. They have been will continue to be my large animal veterinarians of choice.

We took a mare and foal to Allegheny Equine Vet Service on April 7, 2026. We had a very positive experience there. We had previously taken another mare there for a suspensory issue and that experience was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this clinic!
Great people, great clinic and price. Love you all.
I saw Dr. Miller today on a farm call for a mild gas colic. He was thorough, calm, and communicated recommendations and after care clearly. I appreciate the high level of care Dr. Miller provided our horse today.
Friendly and efficient as always. Excellent care, I don’t trust anyone else with my horses. Facilities are always well maintained and organized, staff are always knowledgeable and welcoming, and even the animals there for treatment are usually happy to be around.
Vets Dr Martin & Dr Miller are absolutely great. Very attentive & professional. Highly recommend if you need a vet(s).
I have needed services on two occasions from this vet service, both involving cattle on farm calls. On both occasions, they were very friendly, quick to understand my need, and very prompt to send personnel to my emergency within the afternoon of the day. I highly recommend the office and their personnel.
Dr. Miller and Addison came out to stitch up one of our horses after Maggie had cut her head badly. She is a rescue horse and does not trust people. They provided great care and kept her anxiety at a minimum. The cuts are healing nicely and she got the best care from them. Very good job!
