I appreciate the Dr, and office follow up and follow through with medications I needed.

Dr. Friedman spent a significant amount of time with me to determine what my issue is. He kept asking questions as to not miss anything. I felt like he truly cared about what is going on in my system and felt that he is guiding me correctly and will be helpful in getting me a resolution. I would highly recommend Dr. Friedman to anyone.

Frankly, I really liked Dr. Friedman. During my first visit regarding my allergy concerns, he was warm, professional, and took the time to discuss my symptoms. He wanted to obtain authorization from my insurance company for additional testing, which I appreciated.<br><br>Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff has been the opposite. That discussion took place over a month ago, and despite multiple follow-up calls, I have not received any updates. Each time I call, I am told that the office manager will contact me, but no one ever follows through.<br><br>There was also an incident during my first visit that left me uncomfortable. While completing the patient questionnaire, I apparently missed a few items. Instead of speaking with me privately, a staff member began asking questions about my personal information loudly enough for other patients in the waiting area to hear. At the time I did not think much of it, but looking back, it felt inappropriate and unprofessional.<br><br>My interaction with Dr. Friedman was excellent, but unfortunately the lack of communication, poor follow-up, and front office experience have significantly diminished what would have otherwise been a very positive experience.<br><br>I originally left a positive review shortly after my appointment because of how much I appreciated Dr. Friedman's care. However, after months of unanswered follow-up requests and continued lack of communication from the office, I no longer feel that review accurately reflects my overall experience.<br><br>I rarely leave negative reviews, and I certainly do not give one-star ratings lightly. My hope is that this feedback encourages improvements in communication and patient follow-up, because the quality of care I received from Dr. Friedman deserves a staff experience that matches it.

Lies, insurance fraud and HIPPA violations. Extremely dissatisfied with this office and have lost all trust. I was looking for an in-network allergist and when I called to schedule I gave my insurance info and specifically asked if they were in-network to which they replied, “We work with your insurance.” When I asked again to confirm they are in-network they said yes. I was charged much more than my contracted rate for an office visit and when I asked for an explanation they said it was a mistake and I would receive a refund. Months later I was told that I would not be receiving a full refund because my insurance did not cover the full cost of the appointment. When I called my insurance asking for clarification, they confirmed that the office is out-of-network as to why my copays were higher. This office purposelessly mislead me in order to get me to come in knowing that they are out-of-network. I’m in medical myself and know offices do this on purpose using phrases to make it sound like they are in-network in hopes to gain more patients. Deception is no way to gain patients. They have also accidentally sent me another patient’s information via email which is a direct violation against HIPPA. This office is a complete mess and I would never trust them to handle my treatment or personal information. I’m very shocked to see such a poorly ran medical office here in Orange County. I would never recommend them.
