I've used Alley Cat twice and I think they do good work. The three-year warranty is particularly appealing. However, the second time they came over, I was a left disappointed. They gave me a fairly pricey quote, $1,900, for exclusion work. But because I had used them before, I trusted them that this was the right thing and the value was fair.
However, they came in and finished the work in a handful of hours, less than half a day, with one worker and one helper, which leads me to think the estimate was quite overpriced. They were here for 2:20min, so basically I paid the equivalent of $815/hr
Our initial exclusion work was even more expensive, however, it was a one to two day job with a big crew, so that seemed reasonable.
In addition to that, they were removing the droppings with a regular consumer-grade RIGID shop vac. Their estimate, says that the use a commercial-grade HEPA vacuum (which matches CDC recommendations for rodent dropping clean up). Had I known that, I would have done that myself, since the shop vac I have is a step up than the one that they brought.
Finally, after the cleaned an sanitized the basement, they did something in the crawl space that caused a giant cloud of crawl-space dust to cover all previously clean areas. I brought this up to the lead installer and he apologized but did not offer to clean it.

Alley Cat’s customer service really stood out. There was an initial misunderstanding about coordinating cleanup with demolition at my home, but when I called to explain, they listened, took my concerns seriously, and followed through to make things right.
