I purchased a washer and dryer set from this company for $540, plus an additional $100 for their warranty. I also paid their third-party delivery company another $100 for delivery. The VERY SAME DAY I washed my first load of clothes, the dryer started screaming extremely loud. I called and a technician came out and confirmed there was an issue with the dryer and said a part/belt needed to be ordered. A few days later, they attempted to come back, but because I work an on-call schedule, I had already been called into work by the time he arrived. We rescheduled.For the next appointment, I even paid an additional $25 to get the first appointment of the day, which I was told was between 9–11 AM. I waited around until 11, called, and was then told the technician was behind and probably wouldn’t arrive until around 2 PM. I was not available at 2—that’s exactly why I PAID EXTRA for the first appointment of the day. Now, they saying he’s not coming out and I need to bring it in and can’t grantees once it leaves it would work cause they not installing it . Lmao a joke . on top of the dryer issue, the washer won’t even complete a full cycle without constantly saying “off balance” and shaking my entire house.After spending around $765 total between the appliances, warranty, delivery, and appointment fee, I’m now being told they won’t send someone to look at it because I supposedly had two “no-show” appointments. How am I the no-show when I paid for appointments and one of them wasn’t even going to arrive during the time window I specifically paid extra for? And apparently, they don’t buy the appliances back either.I bought this set expecting working appliances, not problems with both the washer AND dryer immediately after purchasing them. Between the appliances, scheduling, extra fees, and lack of resolution, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I would not purchase from them again.

While we appreciate your feedback, we’re inclined to make a few corrections. You originally purchased the set at a discount without the warranty. The additional was to add the warranty back on after purchase. You called for service, and paid the in-home service fee which is not included in our warranty since you picked up the machines. Our policies are made clear in our shop and on our website as well as on the paperwork you signed when you picked it up. When you agreed to the service, you agreed to our $25 late cancellation fee, which we did not charge you the first time you cancelled same day. The second time you requested first of the day and again cancelled same day, we charged you for it. The third time you no called no showed to again, the first of the day appointment, which we have time stamps for, and we let you know then that was your last chance and you could either bring it back in or pay the 2 no show fees for the waste of our technicians time and fuel to come out and you not be there. You chose not to do either, which is totally your choice. We honor our warranty 100% but we cannot force you to be available during your scheduled appointment time. Best of luck to you.
By far the best place to buy and save on a washer and dryer in all of the Low country!. Jessica & Lori both have great customer service and are very knowledgeable of their inventory. To top it off they offer same day and/or next day delivery as well. Definitely recommend them.

Bought a washer and dryer a little over a month ago and as soon as we started the washer it started making a terrible noise. They wanted to charge us $45 to come out and fix it. Eventually they did come out and fix it, but then the next cycle that was run there was another problem. The problems were basic that could have been fixed in the shop if they actually tested the appliance. Don’t listen to them if they say they have tested it. My situation is proof that they are not. Now there is a problem with our dryer, but it is outside the warranty period. Go save yourself the time and headache and spend a little more money and buy a new appliance not from this place that says they refurbish appliances.

Thank you for providing feedback, however, it is incorrect. We fully test and service every piece that comes through our shop before being sold. These are used appliances and things do happen we cannot foresee. That is why we offer the warranty. The in-home service is not part of the warranty (parts and labor always are) and we provide policy prior to purchase which customers agree to when they sign the paperwork. We even waived that fee for you out of courtesy. We consistently go above and beyond for our customers and never want anyone to feel they’ve had a bad experience with us. If you had reached out about the dryer, we would have helped even outside the warranty. We can’t help with something we don’t know about. We wish you the best moving forward and apologize for the inconvenience.
I purchased a washer from these folks about four years ago and within a few days it went out and they expediently came over and fixed it. Fast-forward to yesterday and I needed to replace my Washer due to the tumbler and I just decided to get a new one instead of repairing it. Ended up buying a set for an exponentially great price, the team was patient with me, answered all my questions and helped me load the washer and dryer into my truck. Excellent customer service, excellent pricing absolutely recommend them to anybody and everybody!

Alliance Appliance has been so great to shop at! Every employee has been so friendly and helpful. I have bought a washer/dryer set and a refrigerator. All three appliances have worked great. I will definitely be back for any purchase or repair needs!

Purchased stacked combo unit with delivery, excellent customer service and when I had a issue with the dryer making noise they covered it under warranty and swiftly had it fixed, this business puts their customers first!!!

i bought a w/d a few months back and they’re still in great shape. i went during my work break and had my little chihuahua with me but needed to pick up cash to pay and they even insisted on babysitting while i went for cash haha. very sweet team that I’ll be happy to use again.
