I have moved several times and I have never had an experience as professional, dependable, flexible and nice as this moving company. They were exceptional. I am a real estate attorney and I will definitely recommend this company to my clients! Thank you for making a stressful situation manageable.
Not once, but twice Alpha has moved us smoothly, timely, and completely. And the first time on a day when it was 100 degrees. And the second when it was balmy 90 degrees. Thank you, Alpha.
Alpha Moving and storage has now helped us with two moves. They are professional and very careful with packing. Prompt, courteous and wonderful to work with. We would highly recommend them.
100% yes to choosing Alpha Moving for your local or long distance move. Excellent customer service ... from initial inquiry calls to the exceptional, kind, professional movers! Fair pricing ... the movers care for your items ... easy & efficient move.
I’ve use Alpha a few times and my daughter hired them as well. They’re reliable, efficient, friendly and professional. Excellent customer service as well. Heather & Bill were a joy to do business with. Moving is hard, Alpha made it less hard. 😉 I hopefully will not need to move again anytime soon, but I would 100% recommend Alpha Moving & Storage.
The guys are great! I highly recommend them and it's the second time we used Alpha Moving & Storage. They were on top of everything and they were prompt at giving us information when we asked for it. The team works hard, they're super careful with the details, and very efficient. So happy we hired them!!
The team was outstanding from start to finish. It was a long move, and they remained professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly throughout. They handled everything with care and made what could have been a stressful day feel seamless and well managed.
We used Alpha Moving and Storage based in Jersey City when we sold our apartment and moved to another residence. Heather and her team helped us to pack, disassembled the furniture and helped us to store everything in their warehouse as we were selling and buying properties at the same time. They were prompt and…
Efficient, friendly, helpful. They took over the job, which gave us such a sense of relief, and then deposited everything they packed in a storage facility 90 miles south. Highly recommend.
Great service to use. Max is a class act along with everyone on staff. Any issues, they handle it. I have used them for multiple moves and clean outs. Extremely well trusted group of workers. Most of them have been with Alpha for a long time.
I had an excellent experience with Alpha Moving and Storage. Their team was professional, careful, punctual, efficient, making the move smooth and stress-free. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend their reliable and high-quality services.
Alpha did a great job for us moving our things into a storage facility and then back to our renovated home a few months later. They are professional, courteous, on time, honest, and careful. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with a move.
Super professional team, lead mover super accommodating and communicative & clear throughout packing, loading & unloading experience. Whole team went above & beyond and were very careful with all items. High quality service. Highly recommend.
The attention to detail and care of wrapping everything up for security of the items makes you feel like they too own and care for all your belongings. TBH, they packed it better than I would have cared for but that just shows the level of quality service and customer care that truly is of a luxury service at…
Moving team was polite and professional, a pleasure to work with
I used Alpha Moving and Storage to pack and store my loft for a short period of time - they were fast and professional- i had a lot of art and delicate pieces - noting was broken or missing during the unpack. Cost effective and very nice to work with over the 6 months. highly recommend!
Had an amazing experience end of August 2025 with an excellent team.of Alpha Moving. The relocation and move, with three drop offs worked very well. We recently recently hired Alpha Moving at the recommendation of our realtor. The Alpha Team arrived on time, did everything as promised. They were courteous, diligent, and very professional. There was no fuss! I will definitely use them again.
I recently used Alpha moving and storage to move my 2 bedroom apartment in Jersey City to our house in Bayonne. The crew showed up on time, and finished the move ahead of time so my initial quote ended up being cheaper in time for payment! They were polite, professional, and handled all our items with care. Not one…

My wife and I recently moved to Jersey City from the Bronx. We couldn't have been happier with our moving experience. The moving crew were all very professional, courteous, and extremely quick both with the loading and unloading. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We even had some unforeseen last minute…
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!!!! WE had the worst experience with Alpha. First we had damage to both our refrigerator and brand new floors. In addition the foreman was very rude and literally stood over my shoulder while I filled out the survey before he left (intimidating) and gave me a dirty look when he…
I booked Alpha Moving and Storage as my moving company without doing any research, strictly based on a recommendation from my realtor. Turned out to be a tremendous recommendation. I couldn't have been happier with Alpha. I was having my floors refinished so my move date was up in the air because I didn't know…
Professional service and adherence to covid19 precautions. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience. Eddie and his team were professional, friendly, and absolute packing machines! They packed our entire apartment quickly and efficiently, and everything made it to the new place all in one piece. It was also labeled with great descriptions so we could easily sort through once we were unpacking. Would 100% use them again!
From soup to nuts this company did it all! Curious supported gentlemen what was incredibly stressful new single mom and three girls. I highly recommend them.
Alpha Moving & Storage helped make our move from NYC to Las Vegas super painless. Every single person who works for the company has been nothing less than accommodating. The estimator provided an accurate estimate while assessing our stuff via FaceTime and gave us an accurate arrival date. The office crew was very…
My experience was awful and I do not recommend Alpha Moving to anyone. The chief of the crew was all the time very rude, and since the beginning has been trying to make additional money on us. He arrived telling that he had parked the truck in a forbidden place and we would have to pay all the fines and tickets…
I have been using Alpha Moving and Storage for 15+ years and wouldn't use another service. The professionalism is above and beyond. I just moved a little over a week ago AGAIN and it seems the service is getting better and better. I've also used their storage to store my furniture a few months. Everything was in place. A very satisfied customer.
