We had a great experience working with this Alpine for our patio paver project. From start to finish, their attention to detail really stood out—everything was done with precision and care. The final result exceeded our expectations and completely transformed the space. They were professional, easy to work with, and clearly take pride in their craftsmanship. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality landscaping work.
I highly recommend Alpine Landscaping. We hired them for a retaining wall, paver patio and path as part of our pool build. The results far exceeded our expectations and we hope to continue to work with them in the future. The crew was amazing to work with -we already miss seeing them!
Ryan and his crew laid sod in our backyard about a month ago. This area would not hold seed and was eroding away. It was a dust bowl in the summer and a mud pit in the rainy season. We are so happy with our new backyard. The communication was excellent with all our questions answered in a timely manner. The work was top notch and the guys were very friendly and knowledgeable. The price was right, too! We will definitely use Alpine again if the need arises!
Best experience! Really nice people, clear communication. They spent a lot of time helping me figure out what I needed. They fixed issues of water flowing into my foundation. They have a lot of technical knowledge that I really needed.
**Avoid This Landscaping Company!** We feel compelled to share our experience with Alpine Landscaping, as it has been quite disappointing. We would advise others to consider alternative options when seeking landscaping services. We invested over $10,000 in what we believed would be a high-quality sod installation. Unfortunately, from the beginning, the quality of work was unsatisfactory. The sod installation on one side of our home was executed poorly, and despite expressing our concerns, they were not addressed. Furthermore, we did not receive clear instructions on how to care for the grass, despite our specific request for guidance, which was a significant oversight on their part. The issues continued to escalate. Several trees they planted arrived with curled, unhealthy leaves and eventually died, despite our consistent efforts to water them. Since the sod installation, we have also been dealing with a severe grass fungus that has adversely affected our entire lawn. We re-sodded the lawn due to a pool installation, and while we had some areas of healthy grass beforehand, the fungus has now impacted everything. Although they deny any contamination of their product, it is evident that the issues began with their installation, leading us to question whether the sod was the source of these problems. The installation process itself was less than ideal, with sod left exposed overnight in the rain, further compromising the already poor quality. When we sought an inspection from Ryan, we found his response to be condescending. He attributed the problems to our supposed under- and over-watering—contradictory claims that seemed to serve merely as excuses rather than addressing our concerns. Additionally, we received inconsistent guidance from their workers regarding watering, which further reflects a lack of professionalism. Moreover, they did not provide sufficient topsoil during the installation, a critical oversight confirmed by multiple experts, including a respected irrigation service. The poor soil quality now limits our options to re-sod rather than re-seed. Furthermore, we had to re-mulch the garden beds they created for us with over 40 bags due to the thin layer they applied. Compounding our frustration, they also provided foundation work for a deck we constructed ourselves, but the craftsmanship was poor—they didn’t put the concrete two feet into the ground as promised. We needed to stabilize the entire deck by additional means. Given the significant investment this represented for us, it has been particularly disheartening. On a positive note, they successfully installed our fire pit patio, which we appreciate. However, this single success does not mitigate the numerous challenges created by this company. When we sought to re-sod our lawn due to the subpar work, we were quoted double the price for an area that, while larger, was not twice the size of the original. We expected a fair discount due to the issues we encountered, but Ryan's offer to seed the lawn (only after expressing our frustrations) did not adequately address our concerns, especially considering the poor soil conditions created during the initial installation. While it may not be definitively provable that they were responsible for the fungus, their tendency to deny any accountability and shift blame, coupled with their lack of proactive solutions, indicates a troubling lack of responsibility. In summary, while the installation of the fire pit patio was adequate, most other aspects of their service fell significantly short. Unfortunately, they have demonstrated a disregard for professional standards and client satisfaction. We would strongly recommend considering other landscaping companies to avoid the stress and potential financial loss we experienced.

Ryan and his crew did an incredible job for us! Initially we had the front of our house landscaping redone, replacing many plants that had been there almost 30 years, and installing river rock instead of mulch. Then we had hardscaping done on our back patio, with demo of the existing aggregate patio and old wooden trellis arch that had rotted. We included a privacy fence for the side of the patio, and a frog pond with waterfall, which turned out beautiful. But the highlight was the Japanese garden! It exceeded my expectations! Ryan designed it and selected the plants, with a few elements my husband and I added (bridge and large bell gong). It’s made my backyard a dream come true!

Alpine did a great job helping to refine my landscape beds with edges and mulch and making suggestions on plants to grow in difficult places. I will definitely use them again!
