A fantastic comic book shop. There's classic comis for sale as well as new comic related books. An excellent place to update your collection.

Very Disappointing Customer Service I visited Alternative Comic Books today, 08/18/2026, and unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When my wife and I walked into the store, we were not greeted or acknowledged by the person working behind the register. He was rude and never asked if we needed help finding anything. I asked if the store had any collected volumes of The Department of Truth, and his response was dismissive and rude. He simply told me that they only had what was on the shelf. The experience got even worse when I was checking out. I asked the cashier to please hold on for a moment because I remembered that I wanted to purchase something else. Instead of acknowledging me, he completely ignored me. While I was still browsing, he shouted my total across the store. I ended up spending $161, which makes the experience even more frustrating. I don't expect employees to go above and beyond, but I do expect basic courtesy and customer service when I'm spending that kind of money at a local business. Unfortunately, this will be the first and last time I spend money at Alternative Comic Books. There are plenty of other places where I can spend my money and be treated with basic respect. I really hope management addresses the customer service issues because the way customers are treated matters just as much as the products being sold.
Thanks for your feedback, sorry you had this experience at my store. I will be talking with my employees about how to properly greet customers and be more attentive when they're in the store.
The selection of comic books in this place is unbelievable. It is one of the most extensive comic book stores I've seen on the West Coast. Their selection is a wide range of selections to make it cooler. They're next to a TCG card shop a Hot wheel shop, a collectibles toy store. They all reside in the same shopping mall so this is one of those destinations that must be a stop in when in Las Vegas to catch all the cool stuff at one stop.
Thanks for visiting, Efrain, and for your very kind review!
I was in Vegas for a couple days attending a meet-up for one of my favorite youtubers and headed over to Alternate Reality my last day there. I always run by Alternate Reality whenever I visit. The store always has a lot of good quality back issues and the staff and owner are very knowledgeable. Most importantly they value their customers and are generous. I highly recommend you visit the store.
Thanks for visiting and for your review, Neil!

Thanks for visiting and for your review, Joel!
Went to Alternate Reality Comics while visiting Vegas from Toronto. Located a few minutes from Harry Reid airport, and a few minutes from my Airbnb, it was very convenient and easy to find. The store was clean, organized, and well stocked. Picked up a couple of books that I've wanted forever at incredibly reasonable prices. Would recommend 💯. Looking forward to visiting again next year when I'm in the area again.
Thanks for visiting and for your review, Riad! Enjoy your reads!
Love this place! I try to stop by whenever I'm in the area and pick up any cool stuff or series I'm trying to catch up on. It's always fun to see what's new in here. Definitely recommend dropping by if you're a comic book fan.
Thanks so much for visiting and for your kind review, Sampson!
The store was awesome and had so much. Love the deals on the completed comic sets and graphic novels. I bought so much and kept coming back while in town, for work. Will definitely come back when in town. Especially since it's in dream location next to a gaming and 2 awesome toys shops.
Thanks, Manuel!
