During the planning stage, their team will help keep you on track of when things are needed to order, prepare, and complete so they're ready for your event. They will review all contracts, show you what things are needed and not needed so you spend money only on things that are necessary. They also have things on-hand in case of emergencies. For example, they came in clutch because they had an extra tripod for me to use since the one I had was broken. They respect your budget so if you have an idea for something you want, they'll listen and provide a range of cost effective suggestions where classiness is maintained. My guests told me I had the best party ever because of how well organized and executed the event was. They truly had a great time because Amazae's execution was superb. My guests loved seeing all the details and little touches they created that highlighted me. My husband and I could not have asked for a more seamless and brilliantly executed wedding day - it was perfect from beginning to end! It takes a great deal of work behind the scenes to make it all happen and that was all thanks to the Amazae team. All of the vendors were well managed and timed perfectly. Every need was anticipated & every detail taken care of. The flow & timing of the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting & party were exactly as we hoped. Everyone who attended had great things to say about the whole experience - especially how the Amazae team managed the entire day. The progress of the evening was so seamless that we never had to stop to address a service issue or deal with an awkward timing delay. From what I've heard from others, this is very unusual with any event involving so many vendors, service providers & guests over so many hours. This is a testament to the meticulous management of the evening by the Amazáe team as well as the many months of planning by the team leading up to the day to ensure that everything was perfectly prepared. We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged, technically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn’t be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you’re on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else’s expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don’t meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you’re down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Crystal as our wedding planner, and we cannot recommend her enough! From our very first meeting, we knew that we were in good hands. She listened carefully to our vision for our wedding day, and asked so many thoughtful questions to get to know us as a couple. They will take your personality, vision and inspiration and make your event come true. They will wave their wand and your Cinderella/magical/over-the-top-you-name-it event will happen just as you always dreamed it would. Of course they are professional, organized, detail-oriented and proactive. But what makes Crystal and her team special is that they listen to you and they have an eye for design. They then take their crafted selection of vendors (eg, venues, caterers, rental, flowers, djs, etc. ) , put a plan together, and make it easy for you to choose what you want TAILORED to YOU. I had a milestone event where I wanted to walk in, and everything be beautiful, gasp-worthy, classy, and unforgettable. Crystal and Caitlin made my dreams come true. Everything I envisioned happened exactly as I wanted it to. If you want a cookie-cutter [fill in the blank] event, hire anyone. If you want a once-in-a-lifetime-magazine-worthy-unforgettable-can't stop-won't stop talking about-gasp-with-amazingness-event, hire Amazae.

(Note: our wedding took place in February 2020, prior to the Covid shutdowns) My husband and I had a 2-year engagement and we both thought that was PLENTY of time to plan our wedding on our own. We were wrong. After attempting to juggle all the work of researching venues, communicating with vendors, scheduling meetings, dress shopping, etc., we were burnt out and overwhelmed. We even contemplated eloping. Finally, we made the decision to hire a wedding planner and we NEVER looked back. We did a ton of research on Bay Area event planners but with the recommendation of our venue, Casa Real, and our initial meeting with Amazae, we knew they were the one. The services they offered were EXACTLY what we were looking for: Event Design (to put our vision together) and Logistics/Coordination (to manage our vendors and coordinate on our wedding day). Most importantly, their team were total pros. They knew our venue inside and out, and had long-standing relationships with most of our vendors. We left our first meeting feeling SO relieved and also excited for what was to come. We worked with Crystal on Event Design and were so impressed with what she came up with! I shared my Pinterest board of all my wedding inspo and she drafted a booklet of what our ceremony and reception would look like. She gave options for things to sign off on, telling us how much they would cost us, and her recommendations. It was so good to have someone do this research and all we had to do was make the decisions! The execution on the day of the wedding was FLAWLESS. It was 100x better than anything we or Pinterest could have come up with! We held back tears during the first look of our reception because we couldn’t believe how beautiful it turned out. It felt so romantic and elegant - everything we could have possibly dreamed of. Crystal is extremely talented and has an excellent eye for design. She is SO GOOD at what she does (words my husband and I said after every meeting!) and we couldn’t be happier with how she brought our vision to life! For Logistics & Coordination, we worked with Caitlin and Amy. Prior to our wedding, Caitlin kept us on top of our deadlines and managed all of our vendors. This was a HUGE help because we no longer had to communicate with multiple vendors and remember payment dates - they took care of all of it! They were incredibly helpful during our final meetings with our venue and our rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, we had Caitlin, Amy, and Lisa as part of our day-of coordination team. Amy was with the bridal party and I for the entire day, and she had such a calming presence about her! Not once did I feel stressed or nervous. Her, Caitlin, and Lisa managed everything behind the scenes but kept it so calm, cool, and collected. They checked on us throughout our reception and made sure everything was flowing smoothly. At the end of the night, they handled packing everything up and let us enjoy celebrating with our family and friends. Without a doubt, they were the best team to have on our wedding day! If you are questioning whether or not you need a wedding planner, my answer is YES and to go with Amazae! It truly felt like a wedding gift that we gave ourselves. We were able to enjoy the months leading up to our wedding and our actual wedding day because we were well taken care of. Would 10/10 recommend and use them again for any future events!
