Great response from American Air, Plumbing, & Electric In Rockledge. My A/C quit cooling and I called in the afternoon was able to talk directly to someone in the office without having to leave a voice mail. I wad able to receive same day diagnostic service call ( not a after hours call). Short window technician notified us when they were on their way and on his arrival. Mike performed a diagnostic on our system and gave us several opportunities along with estimates. No high pressure sales. The part we needed was available for an return appointment the following morning and credited the diagnostic fee. Mark Wallace arrived the next morning Mark was very professional and friendly. He installed the motor and required parts to increase A/C efficiency and tested the system. We asked about their platinum program Mark was thorough in his explanation and covering all the benefits sounded like a great addition for our older A/C system and comes with plumbing and electrical benefits as well. Great technicians representing your company!

Stay as far away from this company, especially if you are a woman and/or have a disability. They are highly discriminatory and preying on the vulnerable. I was told they could fix my ac and then the tech was going to the warehouse to get the part. A few hours later, he returned with a salesman. As a female alone, I was on the phone (I also was not even speaking to the person on the phone they were simply just there as added protection) the tech left but was still outside my house. I was then alone in my house with a man. He then told me to get off my phone so we could speak. I immediately was uncomfortable, you do not tell a woman alone to get off their phone unless you are going to harm them or you know your sales tactics should really be reconsidered…. To say the least. As a woman, you do not disagree in fear of what will come next if you don’t agree. The salesmen then tried to sell way overpriced unit and because “sounds like you need ac as soon as possible because of your medical condition, you can have ac tomorrow if you buy a new unit” this is because my health condition was disclosed, so he was using that as a way to sell me too. He then called me the next day with a price to fix my unit. I had already had it fixed at half the price he quoted me. I asked for a manager because of the way he treated me, he lied about what he said to me and he literally hung up on me.
Then we get to the owners… what an awful group of people. He defended the salesmen, trying to say he must have been off that day or having a rough day. So it’s ok because they are having a rough day? No you shouldn’t be at work if you can’t treat people with decency.
Then I said to the owner that it’s legit discrimination and abuse to the disabled. He replied by saying they are apart of charities for the disabled. Sorry, that’s marketing and the ability to say they support disabled veterans. Also tax breaks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Even the owners treated me like I was stupid.
There is video of this also. The owner never even asked to see the video… why? Because he knew, this is how their people are trained. Please stay away!!!!
I will simply add this edit to respond. First, yes they did refund me $90 for the visit. Which I did not ask for(even said that on the phone, I’m not money driven…) my problem with them all along is discrimination, but they use the refund as defense for my argument numerous times over multiple days. Honestly making it worthless at this point. Plus it’s $90, they should have added that amount since it’s so insignificant to me, all I wanted was my ac to be fixed. But they like to make it seem like they did me a great favor by refunding me… $90. In reality all they did was cause me great distress. They said they send information regarding the”team” that comes to my house. They only sent the information regarding the tech, not the salesmen. I had no idea a salesmen was coming to my house at all. I would have said no thanks. I will say in this comment I asked the owner that they should simply call when they don’t have a part, no need to come back to a house with a salesmen on a Sunday… then tell the person to get off their phone by a strange man you weren’t even expecting.
Did I curse? Not going to lie, yes I did. I have no need to lie. Why would I anyways? Who wouldn’t when they are being discriminated against and who knows how many more people have been taken advantage of by this company. That is enough to infuriate most people. They also NEVER asked to see the video. In fact they said to me “what do we have to do to make sure that video doesn’t get online because it will ruin our company”… they knew. They are simply defending their horrible and disgusting tactics and defending their predatory behavior in the response to me.
Please stay away from these people!!!!

We are genuinely sorry that this interaction left you feeling uncomfortable or unheard. That is never the experience we want anyone to have in their home.
For clarity, our representative understood that you were on a phone call and stated that he would speak with you once your call was finished. His intention was to be polite and avoid interrupting—not to isolate you or remove a source of support. Customers are sent identifying information and a photo before our team arrives, and our employees undergo background checks.
Our representative did not use your medical condition as a sales tactic. After you explained that restoring your air conditioning was urgent, he provided the available repair and replacement options and explained how quickly each option could be completed.
Management has apologized multiple times, issued a full refund, and repeatedly requested the referenced video so we could fully investigate your concerns. To date, we have not received it. During subsequent calls, our employees were subjected to repeated profanity, shouting, and threats to damage our business. Despite this, we continued attempting to address the situation professionally.
We take concerns involving safety, discrimination, and employee conduct seriously. Our understanding of this interaction differs significantly from what has been described, but we remain willing to review the video if it is provided. Having issued a refund and made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this matter, we consider our response complete.
