Erin was my nurse practitioner today and was wonderful! She was extremely knowledgeable, patient and answered all my questions. She diagnosed me quickly and explained why she was giving me the medications she was prescribing. 10/10, would come see her again!
Decent experience, very helpful, automated phone system is sh@t. Recommend speaking with someone in person and you will receive the help you are seeking.
I love not being sick, but when I am this is where I'll be found. Im infinitely having to take pictures of licence & instance cards for online check in but I hire I need to do it 😡 they'll won't accept you any other way, despite age or condition. Get on website, set appointment, for paperwork, show up, wait 10 minutes, never met a doctor I didn't like... They are great to me and sensitive with my son. I hate the constant emails from them for a review or to come back in, but I just delete them. I'm site they are selling my info to 3rd parties. Very unprofessional and deplorable. But it's not the doctors fault the company chose to make these decisions. Once they got me into the Decatur ENT for my son with special needs immediately. It's not that easy to get appointment and we got right in. Now we are regulars. Thank y'all. ❤️

Based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend this facility. I took my daughter in after she returned home from college feeling unwell. She was experiencing a sore throat, fever, and chills. The nurse practitioner evaluated her and stated that sinus drainage could be contributing to her symptoms and fever. However, no treatment or prescription was provided for the drainage. When I asked for an explanation, I did not feel that my questions were adequately addressed, I then requested to speak with the on-call supervisor so I could better understand the assessment and treatment plan. The nurse practitioner then became very aggressive, an we were asked to leave.The police were later called after I stated that my insurance would be notified concerning this visit. Regardless of the circumstances, I found the situation concerning because my questions about my daughter’s care remained unanswered. Patients and their families should receive clear explanations regarding evaluations, treatment decisions, and billing concerns, as well as respectful communication throughout the visit. In this case, I was dissatisfied with both the communication and the way the situation was handled. Because I did not feel that my daughter’s care concerns were adequately addressed and the interaction escalated rather than being resolved professionally, I would not recommend this facility.
This was my first time using AFC urgent care. Staff was very professional and kind. I was treated with respect. CRNP.Julie Styles listened to me and was very professional and was empathic as well. I would use AFC again if needed. I was out and in. It would have taken me hours anywhere else. Very pleased with service here. Love that you can fill out paperwork online too.
