I have a very wonderful therapist I found through AMK, but when my work insurance unexpectedly changed, they refused to work with me on any budget billing options, despite being a low income earner. I offered many different options of self pay, but AMK was unwilling to come up with any support and required me to pay almost $200 out of pocket per session for over a year. I was really disappointed to hear that AMK does not support the low income community in Chicago, and I hope they will do better next time.

AMK is an excellent choice for mental health care. I refer to this practice often because I trust the services provided. The owner is genuinely caring and wants what is best for her staff, clients, and community.

I cannot recommend Jiana as a social worker enough. She has the ability to ease any nervous new clients and makes them feel safe and heard. I’ve seen firsthand her knowledge of multiple treatment techniques. Jiana meets all clients where they are at and had the ability to make them feel understood. She would be a great therapist for anyone, but has a special ability to work with adolescents.

Jennifer is an incredible counselor! She goes above and beyond to make sure all are taken care of. As a former co-worker, I have seen this work up close and personal. There is no one else I’d rather trust to get me through something than Jenn. She is a wonderful person who takes the time to listen, offer advice, and check in with you. I trust her immensely!

I highly recommend working with Resseka Uy. We worked together previously and she always has a knack for building great rapport with her clients to make them feel they are in a warm and comfortable space to further challenge themselves in their everyday life.
