I had a new roof estimate done. David was very thorough. He explained everything and even had samples to touch to understand each price option. I was very impressed with the warranty offered by this company. I went with Amstill to put my new roof on my house. During the installation they went above and beyond to make sure I had proper attic ventilation. I had one small issue, after the new roof, which David helped me get resolved. The new roof looks great! A big shout out to David, all the roofers who worked on my roof and the older gentleman who fixed the minor issue. Thank you Amstill!

David (salesman) and Rigo (project foreman) were both amazing. The entire process was outstanding. From David coming by for the quote to the removal of old roof and installation. I was blown away by how fast the installation was. I was able to see my finished roof with drone footage. Highly recommend.

Curt schaefer came in to check my ceiling, as a matter of fact he got to my house 15 mins before his scheduled time. He checked everything even went to the attic, took pics and told me what the matter was. And they do mean free estimates, because he didn’t charge me a thing. I do recommend Amstill Roofing. They are true to their word. The Hank you Curt.

I am genuinely shocked my experience with this company was this bad, especially considering the number of glowing Google reviews they have. Those reviews are exactly why I trusted them with an approximately $80,000 roofing job on my business. After a major hailstorm, our commercial roof was badly damaged. Several skylights had massive holes in them and we had leaks throughout the building. That was the entire reason I called them in the first place. They came out, evaluated the roof, and presented an approximately $80,000 scope that was described to me as getting the roof into solid long-term condition and extending the usable life of the roof. We specifically discussed the damaged skylights and recoating the roof. Based on those conversations, I took out a loan and moved forward with the work. Since then, they have had to come back FOUR separate times because the roof still leaks. After the initial work was completed, I discovered they had not even replaced the skylights — despite the skylights with literal holes in them being one of the primary reasons I hired them. After going back and forth, they agreed to return and address them. Except they still did not finish the job. Old skylights were left in place, and only roughly 85% were replaced. Then came the part that was almost unbelievable: they tried to bill me approximately $3,800 for the "new work" on the skylights. Imagine paying around $80,000 to repair a leaking roof with hail-damaged skylights, discovering the damaged skylights were not fully replaced, and then being presented with another bill to finish work you reasonably believed was included in the reason you hired them in the first place. Months later, the roof was leaking in multiple locations again. Ironically, only one of those leaks was even coming from a skylight. When I brought this up, instead of taking ownership of the situation, the conversation turned into explaining to me how I apparently "didn't understand the contract." I explained again that the building had giant holes in the roof and active leaks, and that was why I contacted a roofing company and spent approximately $80,000. The response was essentially that I "wasn't clear enough" and that there had been a "miscommunication" between our companies. Apparently, when you hire a roofing company because your roof has holes in it and leaks, you need to be even more specific that you would like the holes and leaks repaired. I was then informed that I would be responsible for paying for additional repairs to the roof I had already spent approximately $80,000 having repaired. So now, after taking out a loan and paying this company a substantial amount of money, I have another roofer coming out and quoting me thousands of dollars to correct issues I believed I had already paid to have corrected. Charlie comes across as very friendly initially, but my experience when problems were raised was completely different. The conversations felt incredibly condescending, dismissive, and focused on explaining why the situation was somehow my misunderstanding rather than addressing why an approximately $80,000 roofing project still resulted in a leaking roof. At the end of the day, I don't care how nicely a contract can be interpreted after the fact. I hired a roofing company because my roof had holes in it and leaked. I paid approximately $80,000. My roof still leaks. Now I have to pay another roofing company to fix it. That should tell you everything you need to know about my experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take feedback like this seriously, and we are disappointed that this has been your experience. We do want to clarify a few important points for accuracy. The approximately $80,000 figure stated in this review does not reflect the contracted price for the roofing project. Additionally, the original scope of work called for the existing skylights to be sealed and coated. Full replacement of the skylights was not included in the original contract. When it became apparent that certain existing skylights continued to leak, replacement was discussed and quoted as additional work. Given the urgency of the concerns raised, several skylights were subsequently replaced. There remains an outstanding invoice associated with that additional work. That said, we do not want the disagreement regarding the skylight scope to overshadow the larger concern. You have reported leaks following completion of the roofing work, and we take those concerns seriously. Our priority is to properly determine the source of each reported leak and address any items that fall within our scope of responsibility. We also regret that any conversations with our team came across as dismissive or condescending. Regardless of a disagreement regarding the contracted scope of work, that is not how we want a customer to feel when bringing a concern to our attention. There are several separate issues involved here, including the reported leaks, the condition of the remaining skylights, the original contracted scope, and additional work performed. We do not believe a public review thread is the appropriate place to work through the details of those issues. We remain willing to meet with you directly, review the outstanding concerns, and work in good faith toward a fair resolution. Please contact our office so we can continue that conversation directly, ask for Matt 281-495-1878. Thank you!
