I couldn’t be happier with my headshots! Such a fun, easy experience from start to finish. Stephanie did an amazing job with hair and makeup, and Angi made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and in coordinating my outfits. The photos turned out better than I imagined. If you’re looking for an exceptional photographer and a talented beauty stylist who will make you feel beautiful, confident, comfortable, and completely taken care of, I cannot recommend Angi Lewis and Stephanie highly enough. They are a phenomenal team. And I’m so glad I chose them for my magazine photo shoot.
When I spoke with Angi over the phone, we connected instantly. It had been a while since I’d been in front of a camera for a professional photo shoot, so I was understandably a little apprehensive. Angi made sure I had all the instructions, guidance, and preparation materials I needed to feel ready before I ever stepped into her studio.
When I finally met Angi in person, it felt like we were old friends. In an experience like this, where you’re putting yourself out there and the stakes are high, having a team that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease is priceless. Stephanie continued that same welcoming energy during our hair and makeup session. She was so engaging and personable that I didn't even realize the beautiful work she was doing until she was done! Like any true artist, she made the entire process feel effortless.
By the time we were ready to shoot, I had complete confidence in both of them. Out of all the photographers and beauty stylists in Houston, I knew I had chosen the right duo and the right studio.
The photo shoot itself was wonderfully collaborative. Angi came prepared with fantastic ideas while also welcoming and incorporating my own. What I appreciated most was how naturally she balanced her creative vision with mine. Whether I had a clear idea of what I wanted or needed her to take the lead, I knew she would adapt seamlessly and do whatever it took to create the best possible results.
During the shoot, I sometimes got in my own head, but Angi and Stephanie always knew just what to say to bring me back into the moment. They helped me relax, reconnect with myself, and feel comfortable enough to let my authentic personality shine through.
I walked away with more than just amazing photos. I gained two new friends, made wonderful memories, and was reminded of how important it is to work with people who genuinely care about both their craft and the person in front of the camera.
From beginning to end, they made me feel like I was their only client, and that kind of personal attention is truly special.
