I had gone to donate some items for the first time. Everyone was very helpful. I browsed the store and everything was very neat and organized. Made a purchase and will definitely be going back. For a good cause!
We went to Barks n Bargains Thrift Store that Support Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation. Easy to get to. They have a lot of nice items! You can also donate items that you no longer want or need! On Wednesdays, if you are 55 or older, you get a senior discount. When I went to check out, I asked if I could make a donation. The lady said yes and asked how much I wanted to donate. I told her and she looked very surprised when I said the amount. She asked if I was sure about that amount. I said yes! I also mentioned to her or someone else that I also work with a cat rescue out of Charlotte. My daughter and I love to support cat and dog rescues! Looking forward to coming back again.

We adopted our sweet Sully one week ago from Animal C.A.R.E Foundation! This organization was thorough in assuring that we would be good and responsible pet owners. They were very responsive and great to work with. Most importantly, it apparent that Sully have been very well cared for. It is a big thanks to their hard work that Sully had a second chance and our hearts are filled with joy!
We love supporting local Animal Rescues and Animal CARE Foundation has been wonderful to work with for our new family addition! We filled out thorough adoption application and was contacted promptly about the puppy we were inquiring about! Then we set up a visit with his Foster parent to meet our puppy. We instantly fell in love and were able to take him home then. The follow up with the president has been pleasant and easy. She has stayed in touch with us about his vaccines and neuter / microchipping! Overall experience has been great and I highly recommend Animal CARE Foundation!
In February, I found our sweet senior dog, Maddie, through Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation. I wasn't even looking for a new dog...I was at the adoption fair supporting my friend who was looking for a new dog to love. I guess I was where I was meant to be at that moment! Maddie, a beautiful 11 year old mixed breed, was there smiling at me and tugging on my heartstrings! Her owner of 11 years had recently passed away and Maddie was surrendered back to the animal shelter where she had been adopted from. Thankfully, Animal C.A.R.E. rescued her! I was totally impressed by Kim, Maddie's foster mom and Beth Blevins. They care so much for these sweet animals. Now, Maddie has a sister dog named Lilly, who is 13. And, she has a new family that loves her during her senior years!
Beautiful, seamless, experience with wonderful people (with whom we have maintained relationships). And of course we've found our poodle-love and he's so happy in his forever home!
So thankful for our experience with Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation. From the beginning of the application process, to months after the adoption was complete, we were consistently impressed with the professionalism and care that was put into every step along the way. Special thank you to our foster mom, Kim S. She was so selfless and loving to our baby before we could get our hands on her. Thanks to her and the Animal C.A.R.E. Foundation, she went from a sad situation to a very loving home. They saved her life 💖 before and after pics attached.
Working with Animal CARE foundation to find a forever home for Gunner and Grayson was a great experience. They care deeply for the animals while they are placing them with families and it shows. The vetting and adoption process helped us feel confident that we were the right match for them. We really appreciated the time to answer questions and concerns as we were transitioning them and making them feel comfortable in their new home. Now, we can’t imagine our life without them! I appreciate all the care and love that Animal CARE Foundation gave while Gunner and Grayson were with them, that they notice their bonded connection and kept them together and worked hard to find the right family for the animals in their care!
