Dr. Trotter and her staff have provided wonderfully loving care to four of our dogs and now three of our cats, not to mention the twenty or so cats they helped my wife get "fixed" and find homes for. Dr, Trotter is one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. We feel very blessed that our paths crossed with hers. You will not find a better human being.
The staff was great and took care of my pup with lots of love.
All of the staff have been incredibly caring about my pets as well as strays I’ve fostered, and have been able to get me in very quickly for issues that came up. I would recommend this practice to anyone (and have already).

I just buried my daughter's cat. I'm crying while writing this. The compassion these guys had for our family is unmatched. They also went above and beyond while preparing her for her last ride home. My experience at this clinic was nothing short of excellent! I took my 5 1/2 yr old Pomeranian/Chihuahua rescue to see Dr. Leslie Tucker this morning. We adopted him 6 mos. ago from the Montgomery humane society. We took him to another clinic for his post adoption follow up. an Although they were nice we didn't feel he was thoroughly assessed. Due to the amount of walk-ins they see, our wait time was very long in their lobby which added a lot more stress to his disposition. It wasn't conducive for an anxious fur baby with PTSD, other health issues, adjusting to his new family for only one month. The treatment plan for his anxiety was addressed but unuccessful. I attempted to schedule a follow up, but was discouraged after discussing other options for his anxiety was not received well. Due to a chaotic, abusive, and inconsistent history he suffers from PTSD requiring our family to make several adjustments to accommodate him. Still, those adjustments have not helped him consistently. His anxiety has been difficult to manage holistically, positive reinforcement only worked briefly, and grooming has been impossible. It's clear to us he has suffered abuse from humans, because he is social and sweet with other dogs and cats. Humans make him very nervous. He has bitten us and worked himself into a panicked resulting in hours of nonstop fight or flight behavior and barking. Car rides are never peaceful. If the trip is 2 minutes or 6 hours, he will continuously bark even after we have reached our destination. Dr. Tucker and her tech Penny were not only thorough, but incredibly patient with him. Dr. Tucker provided me with prescriptions, and had the forethought and consideration to offer an alternative script due to potential difficulties quartering a tablet for his tiny size. Their schedule stays booked, so getting a new patient appointment can take time, however it is WORTH IT! I explained the urgency to have him shaved down before we take him out of town this week. She was kind enough to work with me and fit him into her schedule the morning of our trip to safely sedate him, and shave him so that we can start a grooming schedule moving forward with his new meds! I will never take him to another clinic! A few sidenotesI will share: I received a courteous reminder a few days ago via text to confirm the appt, we downloaded an efficient app called Petdesk that is user friendly and convenient. It organizes everything! We arrived on time and went directly to a room at check-in. Be prepared with your previous records and be sure to fill out anything needed and bring your driver's license. Prior to meeting Dr. Tucker I met her tech Penny, and was given a financial breakdown of services, itemized costs, and a potential estimate of our bill, with the understanding that those charges could increase or decrease once our doctor examined him. Their fees are absolutely competitive and reasonable. Penny was thorough, listened, and observed him while I gave her his history. I have only lived in Prattville for 7 months. I have no bias for this practice. I suggest that if you are looking for a professional, caring clinic in Prattville or the Metro Prattville area, Animal Medical Clinic located at 407 East Main Street in Prattville is highly recommended by me! Dr. Leslie Tucker was outstanding! As a former nurse, and life long animal parent (50 yrs) this clinic was top notch. They were a breath of fresh air! If i could rate them with 100 stars I absolutely would. 🤗
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Words cannot describe how blessed I was to find Dr. Kim Faison. This was the first time I walked out of a vet and knew exactly what was going on. She, and her staff, are extremely caring and knowledgeable. I will always recommend this office!!! 🩵 Thank you AMC for taking care of Sadie!
