I needed a last minute ao dai for a wedding, and a friend recommended this shop. We were extremely impressed with Michael and the selection available at Ao Dai Bao Han! They also had several options for ao dai, dresses, suits, hats and accessories. They had a duplicate order on hand that fit with a few alterations (+ they agreed to a pickup within the week)! We would highly recommend this shop for any specialty fitting needs - not just ao dai.

I’m so grateful I found Ao Dai Bao Han! I walked in around 11 AM on a Saturday after driving from Lodi because I needed an all-white áo dài for my husband’s grandfather’s temple service the very next day in Sacramento. They had white funeral áo dài in stock AND in my size. Even though I was a walk-in with such short notice, they were able to fit me in for a fitting and alterations. I left to grab lunch, came back less than 2 hours later, and my áo dài was already finished and ready for me! They were incredibly kind, accommodating, and understanding of why I needed it so urgently, which I truly appreciated during such a difficult time for our family. The service was so quick and the entire experience took so much stress off my shoulders. I was able to attend the temple service the next day with exactly what I needed. We had a wonderful experience with Michael. He produced silk uniforms for my kung fu school's competition team that traveled to the national championships. We had many comments on the quality of our uniforms and how beautiful they were. He delivered them to us exactly when promised. We look forward to more projects with him in the future!

My wife and I visited Ao Dai Bao Han about two months ago while we were in California visiting family. We live in Virginia and this was our very first experience having custom áo dài made so we were pretty nervous going into it. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by some of the friendliest people we've ever met (and an adorable little cat!), and Michael took the time to walk us through every step of the process. He helped us choose fabrics, explained the history behind different áo dài styles, and made thoughtful recommendations based on how traditional we wanted our outfits to be. When we ran into a small issue because there wasn't enough of one fabric we loved, he was incredibly accommodating and helped us come up with different ideas while also offering to try to source more of the same fabric. What stood out most was Michael's kindness and genuine care. He never made us feel rushed and truly wanted us to leave with something we'd love. When he found out we were visiting from Virginia, he even shared recommendations for places to eat and explore around San Jose! Our first custom áo dài experience couldn't have been better and we couldn't recommend Ao Dai Bao Han more highly.

Ao Dai Bao Han did a fantastic job bringing my custom Naruto Akatsuki Ao Dai request to life. The final result came out beautifully, and I could not be happier with how it turned out. They were even able to add custom embroidery on the inside of the ao dai, which I thought was such a thoughtful and special touch. The fabric quality also feels very premium and not cheap at all. Just by looking at it, you can tell it was made with great care and skill. Michael helped me throughout the entire process, from planning, taking measurements, ordering, and making sure all the details were correct. I really appreciated his attention to detail and how much care he put into the project. The final product truly shows how talented and capable Michael and his team really is. I highly recommend Ao Dai Bao Han to anyone looking for a high quality custom ao dai. They exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely happy with the finished piece.

Bao Han is the only guy to go see for an amazing Ao Dai! He does the best work and also great customer service. We had a little issue with my original custom order but Bao Han didn’t hesitate to make it right and made sure I was 100% satisfied. My niece and I came here on a weekday and we had such a lovely experience. Michael and his staff were so attentive and gave us the freedom to browse the whole store. When we were ready to try on some dresses, we narrowed down on style and materials and colors we liked. Since my size is petite, it's also the reason we decided to have a custom ao dai made for me. They helped me pick out the fabric (color and design) and took measurements with shoes on, for proper length. They are very good at what they do, very knowledgeable and organized. They take a photo of you with selected materials draped on you and record your measurements in a log book for your file. My niece, teen, also picked out a pre-made ao dai, but they will alter it to fit her. Michael advised that it's more economical than getting a custom one at her age, since she's still growing. Overall, we had the most lovely experience for our first time getting our ao dai dresses. Now looking forward to getting it done and coming back for the fitting! Tip: if you know ahead of time, you can bring your own shoes for the fitting and also wear the bra that you will be wearing for the dress. It will make the measurements precise.

Michael is such a kind and thoughtful person. It should be known that he went the extra, extra mile to help my friend get an ao dai for her daughter's funeral. Michael, no relationship, Nguyen ( and his team) made an a amazing dress and it fit perfectly. The collection he has at the shop is beautiful and we had such a hard time choosing. Beautiful pieces and choices!!! We love the customers service too. They were accommodating!.
