I had my furnace replaced by Appal a few years ago and had always trusted them. Unfortunately, my recent experience was extremely disappointing. When my furnace stopped working, I contacted them for service and also requested a quote for replacing my air conditioner. It took four follow-up calls before a technician…
This was just a 6 month check up. The technician was on time, personable, and efficient.
Have used them for years, at our Carmel house. Now using in our new home! Fair, honest and professional!
Your tech Mike came in took care of everything that had to be done and very knowledgeable at everything I asked him
Good
Joseph M did a fantastic job!
The company and their service have been exceptional. Always responsive, timely, clean, and helpful. Ive used Appel for over 30 years now.
Zappy was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable. He did an excellent job. Made sure my HVAC was in top shape. A+.
Appel has always been professional and on time- very efficient and keeps our heat/AC in top condition.
Highly recommend for their honesty and reliability and excellent communication. They saved us money compared to what another heating company was recommending us and were excellent communicators to explain why
Very professional and they did a very detailed service on the HVAC system.
I signed up for a maintenance package with Appel, and I was very pleased with the service. The technician arrived on time, performed all the scheduled maintenance, and provided a summary of the work completed, along with any items that might need attention in the future. I am completely satisfied with their service and highly recommend this company.
I have used Appel for my preventative maintenance of my furnace and air conditioner for over 15 years and they have installed new units in my last house and my current home. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are quick to respond, on time with appointments, have fair pricing, install superior equipment, and have incredible staff.
Pay 1 price for yearly service for air and heating. Best price, very clean and knowledgeable. One price for two visits a year.
After trying maning different heating and cooling companies, I've finally settled on one that stands head and shoulders above the rest - Appel Heating and Air Conditioning. They're honest, reliable, and don't try to sell me things I don't need. They were the only company my mother would use, and I should have…
Great service as always!
Appel is always first class with every job they've completed for me. I've been using Appel for over 15 years now. Always great!
My Appel Representative called in advance of arriving and was timely. He was very polite and professional. We discussed my furnace filters and that I need to shop online since I could not find them at the local hardware store. He wore booties in my home to view the thermostat. I informed him that I had replaced…
On time, friendly, shared updates on furnace.
Joe is very thorough with all aspects of the annual furnace service. He also makes valuable recommendations for things the homeowner can do to support stsrem efficiency. He also explains very clearly the actions he takes.
Always on time, friendly and efficient
Joe is always great to work with. He has been to our house enough that he knows where things are located and is very efficient and friendly. We pay annually for two visits to run maintenance checks on our furnace and AC.
Showed up on time, very knowledgeable and communicated well with what he was doing. I recommend Appel and Otis, who was my technician that came out.
Otis was awesome!! He spent a lot of time correcting an issue with our Google nest thermostat that his company did not sell us, his company did not install, and it was not his responsibility. However, he corrected an issue that was causing our electric bill to almost triple. I’ve had Appel heating and cooling…
They have consistently provided quality service on time and with minimal inconvenience to me. Exactly what I am looking for.
The tech Otis was awesome. Hands down the most detail-oriented HVAC tech I've ever dealt with. Other providers were quoting me $3000-$4000 to remedy a problem that wasn't a problem. One provider suggested I should consider buying a new system. Sending an email to the private equity owned provider I'd been dealing…
I have used Appel for my Heating and Air Conditioning for 20 years. My parents also used Appel for many years before passing They are always professional, informative and knowledgeable. They solve the problem and either repair or replace. They just put in a new furnace for me and I am completely satisfied.
I have been using Appel for almost six years now. They installed our new HVAC system when our old one went out and have done any routine maintenance throughout the years. They never try and upsell and all the technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them to anyone.
Technician was very pleasant, efficient, timely and explained everything he did, what items he checked and what he found. Our furnace working properly. One of the best technicians we have had the privilege to interact with.
We have been customers since 2009. Appel has provided consistent, excellent service over the years. Their technicians, customer support, scheduling, sales. Just outstanding from top to bottom. A family owned business with a focus on the customer.
Appel has been excellent to deal with-organized and professional. Highly recommended.
Once again a great experience with Appel. Outstanding service, knowledgeable and professional. Kyle was personable & did a great job!
I have had an off-season maintenance plan with Appel for many years. When we moved from Westfield to Greenfield in 2021, we brought Appel along. The maintenance plan ensures that we will get the best performance and life from our equipment. Appel has always been locally owned and very reliable. I highly…
I have been with Appel for 25 years. I have never been dissatisfied with their service.
We have been w Appel for 30 + yrs. The office staff are so caring & genuinely helpful. The technical maintanence and service guys are very knowledgeable and have never tried to upsell us. We have our favorite we always ask for but dont want to share him...LOL We're retired and appreciate their honest approach as…
Great work! Installers were amazing, and the new system is awesome!
We have used Appel for years for yearly maintence and emergency service. Always get same day service for emergecies. The service techs are great.
We had a very old system replaced in 2021. The installation went great. Although it is not 'fun' to pay for the service plan, it is a reasonable ongoing investment to keep your equipment functioning. I'm amazed at how much debris an AC unit screens in a single year! Appel has always been punctual and courteous.…
Mike was professional and courteous as well as knowledgeable.
The technician Mike arrived on schedule, he had modern service equipment, and was very knowledgeable about the HVAC equipment being serviced. He was very thorough and communicated clearly with me on his findings and my options. He repaired my system to good working order. Appel was able to schedule me in and not…
Professional, efficient call to check thermostat that did not want to turn off.
Highly recommend.
Service was performed quickly
Appel has always been available quickly. Repairmen are very nice and helpful.
Jeffery and the rest of the Appel team are the best! They installed several systems in the house and have been maintaining them for 20+ years. They have always come through for us on both annual furnace and a/c service as well as emergency work. Great company and great service, in it for the long haul!
I had Broad Ripple Service experts come check my furnace since it wasn’t putting out any heat 4 days ago. They told me it needed replaced for $3700 since it was old (end of life, which wasn’t totally true)or $800-900 to replace the Auxiliary heating component, which was bad. Luckily, I knew David Ward at Appel and…
This is a first class company that delivers on outstanding customer service and offers quality products and services at competitive prices. Dave the service manager, Jeff the general manager and Otis the service technician all did a phenomenal job looking out for my family. I highly recommend this company.

Joseph is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring for home
Appel has installed and serviced 3 of my houses. I have used Appel for over 40 years and have never been disappointed with their service.
They are great! Highly recommend!
Outstanding folks. I’m very happy with the service I received. They were able to come out the same day and get my AC going. They didn’t overcharge and it wasn’t a huge gimmick and price war.
Great job.

Great communication regarding appointments and arrival time. Josh took time to explain things and review some things we’ve had problems with to ensure everything was in good working order. We’ve used them for years and I completely trust them. I highly recommend them!
Always a positive experience! Great people and service
Joe was very professional and thorough.
Joe was on time, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I had 100% confidence in his service
No issues
We encountered an issue with the repair which is highly abnormal after using Appel for probably more than 20 years now. Not only were they responsive but made it right regardless of how costly it was to do so. We would recommend Appel to anyone, especially in this day and age when reliability, timeliness and expertise seem to be in short supply.
Appel installed a new furnace and air conditioner for me recently. I discovered a small problem with the installation, making the filter difficult to change. Jeff Johnson at Appel listened to my concern and promptly sent a technician to fix the issue at no charge to me. Thanks for your prompt assistance, I am very pleased with your service.
First time using Appel. Service agent Dan was prompt, friendly, thorough. Enjoyed our conversation with him. Feel comfortable with our new company
Have them service my HVAC twice a year - this time my furnace quit the day before - they got it going and has ordered 2 parts. An older unit & I appreciate they found problems temporarily fixed it ordered parts for permanent fix & did not try to upsell .
Sean provided excellent service and explained what he did thoroughly. He was even early. Never been disappointed with my service from Appel.
Very prompt and professional.
Jim did a great job servicing my HVAC unit
Knowledgeable, respectful.
They are great to work with. Always have been. If you're Cold or Hot, give them a call.
I’ve used Appel for years and they have always been responsive and professional. I’ve never felt that I was being oversold or scared into buying something I didn’t need. The tech are friendly and knowledgeable and in a lot of cases have been with the company for many years. I always recommend Appel.
Rich was excellent. Provided great service. Explained things carefully and thoroughly. Outstanding!
