Service technician arrived looked at microwave. Pulled up a chair I had removed and made himself at home at my kitchen island while sitting on his phone. Yes, probably trying to figure out what he needed. Nevertheless just charged me to tell me what I already told you was wrong. Terrible customer service as well. I called your company after great reviews from my sister. Hands down the worst service I’ve had in years. I already did what he did. Quoted a high price and left without doing anything but charge me. I’ve called another company and they will have it fixed for less and the service fee will be applied to the repair unlike your company.

Our diagnostic trip charge is $81.19 for the technician to come out and assess the issue. Please note that our phone staff are not technicians and are unable to provide diagnoses. You agreed to have a technician come out to diagnose the problem and give you a repair estimate — he did that, and you declined to proceed. The trip charge was collected for that visit.
We apologize if it felt off-putting that he sat down while looking up the parts for your microwave — he likely didn't anticipate that being a concern. You're absolutely entitled to get a second opinion, and we're glad you found a company that worked better for you. We hope it all goes smoothly!
Extraordinarily competent and professional service! Michael quickly diagnosed the challenged with our appliance, ordered the necessary components, and installed within a couple days. Our household is up and running! Outstanding overall service with the home office coordination / communication to field implementation and resolution.

Made an appointment online last evening for our fridge and Mitchell was here at 9 this morning. Service call cost was very reasonable, he gave us our options (including repair cost), communicated well, and gave us helpful advice for our other appliances. Overall a very good experience.

Price was inflated once the repair was complete from the quote we received. $324 for repair plus $81 to tell us what was wrong. Quote was for “right around 300” and when I specifically asked, they said “plus or minus $10”. Repair seems fine, but I’m put off by the lack of transparency on pricing, especially when I looked up the parts needed on Amazon and it was $30 per part (2 needed). I guess I’m glad it is fixed.

"Hi Camryn, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry for the frustration regarding the final price. Our quote was for $300.00 for the repair. The additional $24.75 was the sales tax that is required by the state to collect. The final invoice included the repair $300.00 and sales tax. We apologize if this wasn't made clearer beforehand, most cases we always say "plus sales tax"
This was my second time using Appliance Rescue and I am just as satisfied as the first time. Billy was professional & very personable. I decided my 26-year-old dishwasher wasn't worth fixing, and he was extremely helpful with his knowledge and suggestions for a new one in my price range!
