Discovered this store after having underwhelming experiences with other local aquatic stores . This is hands down my favorite. From the huge variety of products , healthy livestock and FRIENDLY and educated staff , and fair prices . I also love seeing their personal tank set ups in there with the Arowana ! So cool and shows their passion for the hobby . I have saltwater freshwater and pond fish so this is the perfect store me .
had to come in today for a med for my sick betta, i asked the lady at the front desk for help and showed her pics of my betta and she told me the one i came for probably won’t be as good, she recommended me one and helped me through th store. she genuinely seemed like she understood my concern and actually knew what she was talking about when i showed her pics of my betta. shop here for ur fish instead of big chains!!!
Went a few weeks ago for the first time. The fish I purchased are beautiful and thriving. I went back today for another visit. Today, I went for a couple of pond Shubunkins and some odds and ends. Mike helped me, and was so pleasant and happily took the time to catch exactly the fish I picked out, even though the store was quite busy. Mike (and another guy, whose name I sadly forget) also helped a friend and I the previous time. Both were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I found my new favorite fish store!! Wish it wasn’t so far away, because they are hiring and I would love to work in a place surrounded by beautiful aquatic life and friendly people. Already looking forward to my next visit!
Mismanaged junk hole. Supposedly the largest selection of African cichlids around. They had NONE! They have guppies. There are many employees, but all just sitting around ignoring customers. Hard goods jumbled all over the place totally disorganized. Many tanks appear poorly maintained. And yes I know algae is not dirt, not what I'm talking about. They have lots of salt water fish and corals, but coral tanks looked sketchy. If it had been half of what it claimed to be on the website, I'd have been happy, but it's not.
