Arizona Home Care and Infusion

Melissa was our OT specialist that made our home safe and helped us with tools and equipment that made my husband’s journey back from a fractured sternum possible. She also spent time with us figuring out how to travel to our son’s wedding and things we could buy and bring to make the trip feasible. She is kind, thoughtful and very trustworthy. Overall experience with Arizona Home Care was positive but Melissa was a life saver for us.

The communication at this business is ineffective. The nurse didn't prepare for my mother's case & orders expired before we were able to schedule. We were then blamed because we were hard to schedule. The nurse first complained that my parents made appointments twice & canceled twice. It was because they were in the hospital! We told her that. Still, Paige was not happy about the fact that we had canceled twice, and complained that she too was going through her own issues & didn't work past noon. (I understand everyone has issues but I'm coming to AZ Home Care for help. If they can't help, they should step down!) Paige scheduled to see my mom but realized that the orders for care said we had to wait for two weeks from her hospitalization. It had only been 1 week. She was due to arrive at 0845 & texted me at told 0700 less than 2 hours prior to the appointment, to cancel on me. (She obviously didn't read the orders until the last moment.) The following week I tried to reschedule with Paige & she said she couldn't because we had waited too long & the orders expired (they were only good for 1 week)!! She required us to get new orders. We called my mother's doctors and they placed orders for my mother to have the home care nurse come out as soon as possible, which meant according to AZ Home Care, the same or next day. Nurse Paige messaged me this new information but I didn't understand what she was saying because of errors in her text. I asked her to clarify & she said that AZ Home Care wanted to come out that same day but my mother was already in bed & OK for the night (it was later in the afternoon). Paige then told me to call another phone number if I had questions most likely because she was off for her own PTO. I talked to Paige's manager (Ms Bernard, I believe) and I tried to explain why there was difficulty scheduling and she interrupted me, talking over me, loudly multiple times. We asked to schedule the following day(s) and Bernard said that she was no longer willing to work with us because of the difficulty scheduling with my family! I'm ok with this because by the end of the conversation, I did not trust AZ Home Care with my mother's health, given the poor job they did communicating with us as patient/caregiver.

Sue, my PT was awesome in her explanation of the different exercises to strengthen my new hip replacement. With her help I know my recovery will be the best.

Angie was a blessing after my knee surgery. She gave me reassurance that all was going well with my recovery. She is very caring & knowledgeable. Couldn’t have been better.

I had a great experience with Arizona Home Care and Infusion. The company was always reliable with deliveries, communicated well, and made everything easy to coordinate. Morgan, my PICC line nurse, was especially wonderful. She was always on time, quick to respond to texts or calls if I had any questions, and was so kind and reassuring. She made me feel comfortable and at ease during a time that was not the easiest. I’m very grateful for the care and communication I received from both Morgan and the team!
