Our wedding will be at the Garner House in October 2026. We recently did our tasting with Shelly and Chef Diana and it was wonderful, like a mini date night. Everything was delicious and served so nicely! Chef Diana was so kind and really worked to customize our menu to be asian inspired, as I wanted a tofu dish for vegetarians. They are even willing to deposit any food waste into a bin I intend to take home and compost. Shelly has made made herself so available in terms of questions, venue visits and made scheduling related tasks much simpler. I can't wait to actually enjoy the meal at our wedding and the reception itself thanks to AYLI.
Post Wedding: Overall our event went smoothly, but several of my guests have requested that I note the servers were inconsistent. Guests were constantly asking for water and asking for plates to be picked up. Both my mother and father apparently had to ask for table service or go into the kitchen to find water. We did tip day of instead of beforehand, which I didn't think was a problem, but this kind of feedback from the guests makes me wonder what impacted the service level.
AYLI overall did a good job, I just wish my guests felt more tended to.

My fiancee and i used AYLI catering for our wedding at the Garner House and everything was wonderful! Chef Diana is incredibly talented and everything she made was delicious! During the tasting for our menu she took notes and asked if we wanted any adjustments to any dish, but everything was perfect as is! She was very flexible with what we were able to choose for our menu and it was so easy working with them that everything felt very fun and relaxed, i highly recommend! :)

Daniel & I’s tasting was absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond making the cutest little custom menu’s for us and everything we would be tasting. The food was super delicious and above anything I would think of for catered wedding food, we even got to take home whatever we didn’t finish! Chef Diana and our coordinator Shelly took notes and made sure everything was exactly to our liking. They both were very helpful and suggested great ideas where we weren’t sure. It’s not everyday that you get to sit down and be treated to such an experience that As You Like It Catering arranged for us. In preparation for our Springtime Wedding, we gathered today in the dining room of the historic Garner house for some food and cake tasting on a quaint Tuesday afternoon. The wonderful Chef Diana was fully prepared with all the dishes, all very nicely plated, and smelling divine. We got right into it, starting from one end down to the other, taking in the sultry flavors of the excellently prepared entrees, sides, and each sweet spoonful of icing. I’ve never found it so hard to let go of Mashed Potatoes when a real competitor presents its savory contribution—and for the Cake, I had to betray my tried-and-true chocolate collaborator for a more delicate strawberry cream in the name of good taste and happy guests; I couldn’t be more pleased. Everything we ate and decided against hurt the soul. It’s almost criminal having that many good things taken away from you, but in the end it was all for the betterment of the BIG DAY. Shelly is a really welcoming and warm host that makes sure to cover all the bases you hadn’t even considered, and along with Chef Diana was most helpful in guiding our interests and reservations about each dish and supporting our collective thoughts and ideas. Our time with AYLI Catering today was a pleasantly charming experience that was almost too brief. We felt very taken care of and accommodated by Shelly and Diana, and walking the beautiful grounds of the Garner House, we couldn’t be more thrilled and eager for our Springtime Wedding soon to come.

My partner and I just had our tasting last week for our wedding at the Garner House in Claremont and everything was great! We were able to taste two different salads, multiple entrees, sides, and cake/frosting flavors. The plating and service was great too, the chefs that prepared our food were professional and kind. We definitely left our tasting feeling excited about what we chose to serve at our wedding. We were also happily surprised that they sent us home with leftovers! Every month we are presented with a unique and delicious menu, which caters to our selected theme and dietary needs.
